I totally disagree with your last statement. The only ones who win in this trade are the ones who knows how to trade and knows money management.

Yes, it is somewhat gambling in a sense since you win or lose in the end. The fact that you know its gambling, the better you know that you cannot win it all. Also, you know you cannot have all the money inside the market.

Those who lose are the ones who are thinks its a get rich quick scheme. Total greed makes you lose.

If the border of profitability is in market mechanics, then I'd like to hear how it changes once our $50 -note holder becomes millionaire, billionaire and so on. He surely CAN become a billionaire at least, cant he? Shouldnt affect them market mechanics methinks.

If you had read more than 1 post from the thread, you could have noticed that I stated making more %-wise than any bank in the world in 2008. I probably outperformed even Macaca back then. I did lose quite a bit at one point, but I retired with profit.

I see this is a very old post, so let me know how many millions you got your hands on since January. As well as all other posters who posted here, obviously with an innate or teachable ability to trade, HAHAHAHA!

I'm up 20% on the week or similar at $1 per pip, when my account is double the size I'd need to trade at $2 per pip. Start value £130 or similar.

When I get to the 1Mil mark to still return 20%, I'd have to trade at $7693 per pip, I can't seem to set my account to go more than $10 per pips, with a full account I could go to $100 per pip so I'd have to place 77 single trades and close them all ( can close all in 3 clicks )

Not to mention the stress at trading at that value.



So no, growth gets harder the bigger your account is.

I can risk 10% of my account cause my account is tiny and don't really care, can add more if needs be, would I risk 10% on 1 trade if I had $30K ?? Hell NO!!!

And I have a method there is a system.
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

He probably won't become a billionaire, for any number of reasons. There are plenty of great traders in the markets that are not destined to become billionaires (other than by inflation!). If you can't understand why, then you don't understand market mechanics, and there are more important questions you should be asking.

It is pretty obvious that forex is driven by market makers, and what these guys will do the very next moment only they know. No indicator, no history and no experience can help you there. If some guys here disagree and think they can beat the market makers like China, Russia, ECB and BIS (not to speak of a lot of other souvereign buyers with tremendous amounts of money that can be spent within a minute so no chance for you to react) then please prove it.

If you are lucky then you don´t get hit by some of these breakouts, but it is only a question of time when you get hit.

Things have changed a lot during the last months and I have seen good traders loosing a lot. Of course you can make a few pips here and there, but the risk has risen to a degree where it is questionable if there aren´t any other ways to earn money. I am still in but time will tell.

Candlestar, even without market makers this is naught but a lottery. I agree that there are moves sometimes that have less than 50% risk of a loss, but they do not appear to be consistent.
On the other hand even somebody with a Mcjob can get hit by the car while commuting, so there is no safe haven anywhere.

Where do you guys get your incredibly useless information and market education from?
Did market makers drive gbp/usd from 2.1$ down to 1.35$ in less than 2 years? Who says all CB make a killing on currencys? Phone SnB and ask them how much money they've made lately.

There are even some few prop trader making millions using simple TA tools! Of course not in the way presented in any "100 pips/week" threads here at FF.

Its so counter productive and just negative crap thats all over this forum and exists in people who unfortunetly for them will never succeed at anything

Plus their points are only valid IF they know everything there is to know which they OBVIOUSLY don't... Its really unreal. They lose at trading so suddenly their an expert on the matter?

1) Who asked for their opinion in the first place?

What throws me of is how badly informed and educated most people here really are. It must be a goldmine for brokers to advice here.

ah come on lets not resort to name calling, anythings possible but as we all well know trading can be a very frustrating endevour at times, particularly when your on the learning curve. Maybe the only outlet is through places like this I don't know but as you wander the hallways of this place all you hear are painful screams of the 95%.

Unfortunetly the profitable 5% are quietly talking in the corner and their words are drowned out by the screaming.

Perhaps some people just have to accept tat if they want to join that conversation they need to put in the hard yards like EVERYONE else. Sit down and listen... Or better still stop listening and stop screaming. Its hard and it takes time but if they're gonna be a bitch about it then maybe its just not for them.
