Hi Bob,

I've downloaded your attachments and installed them in my MT4 so I can see how it looks like while studying your instructions included in the attachment. So, first I would like to ask for your valuable time to see whether I have everything properly installed (see attached screen shots).

I will have a few more questions later as I read through your instructions and test how it works on the platform.

Yes that is the same screen I use. Just make sure you are showing 4 full weeks on your screen. When you have those side windows on they can cut off some of the view and change the 6ths indicator. Eur/usd is a great #2 sell EA for now.

Seems like a lot of us are on the same boat for the eu. #1 got me in and now at -150 and loaded #2 for L2 recovery...I still am lost on the MPTM anyone want to help me?

no one can help you
that's part of a system.....if you adapted your lotsize on L2 recovery everything will be good

Try setting everything to false except the "manage by what" and the break even point.

I'm at 10% unrealised dd lost the 8% gain i had made this month but im going to follow the rules to the letter, I only trade the low volatility pairs anyway. hopefully the market will retrace soon

I posted this in the wrong thread last night, but it still holds this morning.

Here is a good example of Scoobs' filter at work.

RWB have been >85 for some time.

Looking at Atr, the 5 (red) is clearly above the 200 (yellow), therefore I am staying out.

Hehe. I got all excited a few seconds ago.

One of my many loosing trades was down to a mere -$0.12.

Then I realised I was looking at the swap, not the upl.

Ok here is some more great fundamental news. You read this stuff and figure go short the EURO. HA HA HA. So Greece increase its debt and the result ............... Euro goes up about 300 pips. Anyone want to explain that one to me.

"It was only a few short months ago when panicky investors considered the Greek debt crisis to spell the end of not only the bull market on Wall Street but also of the fledging economic recovery. Today, in contrast, investors have all but forgotten about that crisis. Earlier this week, in fact, not only Greece but also Ireland and Spain, two of the other countries that were also written off earlier this year as all but bankrupt, were successfully able to sell a significant amount of government debt.
The particular statistic that I found most revealing in this regard: When trying recently to sell 400 million Eurodollars’ worth of Treasury bills, Greece found that demand exceeded supply by a ratio of 6.25-to-1!"

I am just now into a -ve DD of 5000 pips with 36 trades, that equals about 8% of my a/c balance...hope the retracements come soon.

Can anyone overcome this??

In the meanwhile I try to relax and wait for the retracements...

Bob,

The treasury bills were seriously under priced and therefore a very good investment, especially for euro hedge funds etc. Thats why the demand/supply ratio was so high.

Discipline and Patience is the key. I feel we are in that place between a rock and a hard place with Risk Aversion and /or
Risk Appetite not wanting to have anything to do with
Bernanke talk of possibility of more Q.E. down the line for the US. We are in this for the long haul so lets get used to it.
