BTW: Are you prepared for the fireworks?
Awaiting something like a knee-jerk reaction on all USD pairings.

But there is still a little problem: South or North?

Me personally I believe in no detailed hints on QEII.
Means running up for USD.
But that's only my very private opinion and in no means any recommendation for anything.
The only thing that is working constantly for me is to stay nimble, keep the eyes and ears open and react very very fast.

ok, ok....
I'm in rescue mode on USDJPY short, but was hedged with EURUSD long.
All in all a very nice action.
Maybe BoJ is going to rescue me.
However - seems to become a long long night ...

eur/yen hit the target on the pip which is also the top for now, heh.
have no target set for eur/usd yet, feels like there is more to come tomorrow.
usd/yen closed with a loss, no time

"Experts" believe that BOJ will show its teeth in 85-83 range. Since traders have a 5min memory, BOJ might show up soon to remind of its presence.

Strange that usd/yen didn't go up a bit on this news frenzy. Maybe when Japan wakes up..

Hi again,

have written some BS: Of course I was USDJPY long and not short.
Have done my rescue.
The dips down to 8500 and back to 8508 have saved my troops.
So now I can concentrate on the most current action ...

I love such an action ;-)

BTW: It was the first time that I traded something other than USDJPY and it worked out fine. Maybe I should do it more often ....

I actually have the opposite experience.

When I see some action in usd/jpy or gbp/usd then I tend to believe that it will spill over in my pair - eur/usd. Today I had a small loss because I shorted eur/usd while gbp/usd went down to 1.55, felt like it was leading something.. but it did not.

:nerd:different instruments, different times of entry gives good compensation for the "Army" and Time (similar as in one instrument) ... but it is difficult for

I do not want to advise you, it is a dangerous new practice and "watch two children"
:nerd:but precisely because the power-dance in U / Y (supply units for second instrument), ... input at different times will give you the opportunity maneuvers.

Just for info:

0207 GMT [Dow Jones] Non-Japan names buying good amounts of USD/JPY at 84.80, triggering short squeeze to as high as 85.01 this morning, says Singapore-based dealer. Notes large stop-loss sell orders stand below 84.80, but these not yet triggered when USD/JPY hit 84.78 low this morning. USD/JPY last 84.93. ([email protected])

Made only a few pips.
Was waiting for the BoJ ....

So let's see if London opening will bring a deeper rush of USDJPY ...
