You are only partly correct and one must first have a questioning mind and not believe everything written. The fact there are idiots writing books who can't trade and reading their books will teach you very little is no different.
Indicators, Forex terms, candlestick formations and candlestick patterns just to name a few can be found and good information is available for all to read. Choosing not to learn just because everything written is not correct is putting your head in the sand. It's not that difficult determining the good information...Ignored

They wont be able to do so until they stop wasting their time reading the kind of nonsense posted on forums.
Very occassionally someone posts genuinely useful information, and you can guarentee that when it happens, its completely ignored !
