you guys with an obvious statement but its been a while since I've seen such a move on the futures while gj drops nearly 100 pips and staying down here in what i see as a descending triangle 15min testing what i consider minor resistance twice and we can blatantly see cable is driving us atm while uj pauses but bare in mind cable has major support around 1.55

Last week I left an order in to buy GBP/USD at 1.5535 which I missed by 2 pips when the pair spiked down on news. It didn't get filled before the end of the trading week and it came very close today. However, I changed my entry to 1.5545 because I watched today as we traded oh so close to my original entry but seemed to stall just above it. I was filled and now have a target of 1.5900 and stop loss of 1.5430. I will also consider adding to this position if we see a further push into the low 1.55s.

If you take a look at the daily chart, I believe we're in at least a temporary uptrend. After the run up to the 1.6000 area I feel we've put in a bottom near 1.5300 and this pullback from most recent highs is a buying opportunity. This 1.5500/1.5550 zone has proven to be pretty decent support/resistance in the post which I've depicted with the ellipses on the chart:

Zooming in a bit to the 4 hour chart we can also see that this area is the 50% fib retracement of our most recent move up. Now, we can also see that the MACD and stochastics looks like they have more potential to unwind yet and price could move down even further... perhaps even to the dark blue up-trend line. That's why I'm only entering here with about half my usual position and prepared to add more on a deeper correction or confirmation of a bottom at these levels:

I will not short this ,would like to see daily close below 133 to see a down move .Will continue with my long bias until daily close below 133 area.

4hr watch the trendline and support.If 4hr close below 133 area ,I will sit aside and watch how daily close today.

Ever wondered why price stopped at 135.04 not 135xx..????

Here is the Chart I am following... Sold it till 133.11 .. Hit to the PIP and Now long stop at B.E.... if it goes below..I will try at different FIB level...

I would really like U/CAD TO GO DOWN....

Raza, I think USD/CAD has a mid-term bottom in place and I actually added to my 1.0230 longs today. I'm looking for 1.0600 eventually.

I know Geppy many are Bullish On U/CAD... even your favorite member GUCC..lol...

I have Bearish calculation on that...As long as it goes down G/J will keep going UP.... Long term Bias is that it will make a Double Bottom (U/Cad).

U/CAD Daily has formed a DIAMOND bottom.....

I could be wrong... Time will tell..

One thing is sure ONE WILL gO UP ..other will GO DOWN....( G/J... U/CAD)

Some time ago I said on this forum that usd/cad is the most easy pair to trade at the moment.
It's so simple, below 1.04 go long, and above 1.04 go short.
I still abide by that. Give it a few days and you will have profit every time.
That's going on for weeks now.
So of course I am long too.
If it goes down, I'll add longs.

I'm also going for 1.06, from there short again.
