regarding the BoJ: I have no idea too, how someone can be sure about it. I personally have some doubts as well. If you see a very very strong move in a more or less straight line, you can have a good chance, that it was managed by a CB.
But what we have seen at the 16th...
No idea.
It is far beyond my experiences.

reagarding "hard battle": That can be observed only on a very short timeframe (M1 or less). There you can see how bid and ask are jumping around. How the seller throw in their positions and how the buyers are catching them up ...
Maybe I have to much fantasy - but inside my head this movie is presented ...

A very late hello from me today

Just a quick one to say it's good to see some real trading going on in the thread again. I was away for the weekend so I will need to do my preparations first and then step in the real trading.

Have to finish my London sesssion and prepare family lunch.

If market will stay so slow I'll switch to sniper mode.
Means no deep attacks, only sniping some pips out of the (mini)swings ....

Funny thing:
Despite the fact that gart and me have traded the opposite direction this morning, I'm sure we have both made some money ;-)

Thank you for the exchange of information during the trade
I work on different TF (5/10/30secs/M1/M5/H1) and therefore, at the same time on opposite positions we make money
FTI also still recall: rhythm, dance, agility.
