Another great cycle to watch is moon declination. If this would be the only thing you knew about planetary trading, you can make good money.

The moon does not make a straight orbit around the earth, it appears to cross the equator in a waving motion, like on the picture.
In the chart I have a moon declination indicator. The zero line is the equator. Every time the moon crosses the equator price will react counter trend.
It will do so with about 80% accuracy.
Also every time the moon reaches a high or low point in its orbit, prices tend to react counter trend. That cycle however is less accurate.

:eek you are right. I made a mistake in the ephemeris reading. Saturn is at 185.

I am using the regular SQ9, not the astro one, and 330 is a minor resistance. You would really like the 45 and 90 degrees.
But anyway, you are right, I misread the ephemeris, maybe that explains why price did drop below 2680. Thanks for pointing that out!

I use Elliott Wave to determine entry/exit points.

So we had mercury going direct and that coincided with a big move upwards for the eurusd.
Please note how well the price has been respecting the sun lines. These are longitude to price convertions and great s/r lines.
Price will probably move to the sunline resistance around 1.2920 and drop.

On Sept 21st it is that time of year again.

Mind you that on Sept 22 and 24 some cosmological events are taking place that may have big impact on the trend of the markets.

As I said a couple of days ago, the 15th was a moon cycle day. The moon was at the lowest point in its orbit and went up from there. Prices jumped almost 200 pips on the eurusd.

We are headed for some cosmological events at the end of September.
Between the 19th and 24th some big events will be taking place.

On the 19th Jupiter 000 Uranus (g)
On the 22nd Venus 150 Saturn (h)
On the 24th Jupiter 000 Uranus (h)
On the 30th Venus 135 Jupiter (g)

Full moon the 23rd.
Entering Fall season on the 21st.
On the 22nd we have had 91 days since June 21.

Which makes September a dangerous time to trade.
Other dangerous months to trade are: March, February, January, April, May, June, July, October, November, August and December.

A little experiment here with the SQ9.

On Sept 19, 2010 Jupiter will be in opposition to Uranus.
On the planetary sq9 the "priceline" will be a few degrees past 270.
Looks like the picture below.

If I convert that on the SQ9 to a value I get 13169 @ 270 degrees.
The high on Friday was 1.3159.
A few pips off.

That is a pretty good indication that a top is in, at least for a little while, as the 19th is not a trading day and we need to carry that to Monday.

I found some indicators on a russian forum that draw longitude to price conversions on your charts.
Also some cyclical stuff.
Download at own risk.
You need to install all of them. Astroswiss does not work but you'll need the support files.
My advice is to try them on a demo accunt first.

Here is an example of EURUSD and the use of the plain Gann SQ9 values of: 91, 137, 180, etc days.
From the top in July 2008 it gives the following turning points.

Here is a chart of GBPUSD showing the start of the seasons: spring, summer, winter and fall (not in that order).

Everybody knows that the amount of daylight changes depending upon the seasons. That has an influence in trading, however it is not an immediate change.

Hi, Ilovepippin. I just got back from a long weekend and am knackered. I need a break to recuperate from my break.

So, when I read your post I paused for a second thinking that my instinctive understanding was wrong. Then I counted it again. I was right in my first read: in your post it virtually means every single month is a dangerous month to trade. That's hilarious....hahah

I had meant to check the difference between Mikula's insistance on using counter-clockwise on SQ9 and the usual clock-wise but never did. I simply assumed that by geometric pattern there shouldn't be any difference in spite of his insisted claim. Now in order to trace the bits of your other message I finally did it!!! I really don't think there is any difference using clockwise or counter-clockwise. Using Jupiter at 359 on SQ9, whichever direction, between 131-132 always turns up as about 90 degrees from it.

With both 21-24 Sept. and 8 Oct. being just around the corner, it would be interesting to see if markets would have an orderly pull back into early-mid Oct.
