Hi Bob

Just want to say a very big thank you.……….Thank you.

The more I practice trading this System the more I like It. I am finally starting to see its real potential.

Still at demo stage though, as I want to fully experience the systems trials and tribulations before moving it too my real account.

I have been trading this particular Demo Account for approximately 9 days now and it seems to be going quite well, the accounts up by 5.4 percent.

I have made some silly mistakes, not following the rules exactly, wrong entries, entering to early etc. but the system does seem to be quite forgiving.

While trading this week I didn't take any notice of fundamentals and just traded what I saw on the screen, which probably accounts for the rather large negative pips in the Yen pairs, but still even with that, the wins far out way the losses as you have been saying all along.

As you tell us, we should consider the trades as series of trades, and not treat them as individual standalones so I decided to bomb out today, shutting down all my trades, probably a big mistake, but it seemed the right thing to do.

My L1 and L2 trades where starting to make a slow come back, but where dragging there feet and my return on profits was still looking good, so I decided to close down and start with a clean slate, ready for some more Pip Wars next week.

Bob, do you sometimes close down all your ongoing trades, if you’re accumulated current returns are good, ready for a fresh start.

Or do you always play out the losing trades to their conclusion?

I taught Technical Drawing once to a bunch of 15years old monsters, I quit after one term. The ones who wanted to learn was a joy to teach. The ungrateful SOB's that were present took away that joy. More and more you are getting more SOB's....maybe it was because it was a Secondary School and the education was free.

Gave up teaching and took my self back to school to become one of those SOB's. Got the PHD and them realized I wasted 4 years ... since I was making more money on Forex with knowledge freely available on the internet.

The moral of the story so far ... teaching is hard work, and life never goes the way it is planned.

Bob ... what happens when there are two holidays in the week?

Its called October Holiday, first week of Oct. they celebrate their 61 anniversary of the communist revolution. I come in one week and teach Sunday and two weeks later we come in and teach on a Saturday. The week of the holiday is 4 day weekend. Everyone travels, hotels triple their rates, everyone goes visits family, I stay in my house and hide and wave my little American flag. LOL

There is a standard Mandarin taught at all the schools so almost everyone speaks Mandarin in China. One of the things Mao did successfully was standardize the language and writing system of China. It was one of the things that kept this country divided through the centuries.

The local language here however is a form of Cantonese called NanningHua. Almost every village and town has their own language so if you go to BeiHai they speak BeiHai Hua, Guilin is Guilin Hua and so forth. Until the communists standardized the language it was a real mess communicating in this country. What is amazing though was the written language was basically the same country wide but each area had their own sounds for each character. So if you go in a shop and they dont understand you they immediately get a paper and pencil and write out what they are saying. That is how they did commerce nationwide by writing out what they were saying because the characters were the same but the sounds were not. I only read about 300 characters so that doesnt work well either. You still can run into older people and villages in the countryside that dont speak the standard Mandarin.

I know some basic Mandarin and speak only survival Chinese. I can carry on a conversation for about 5-10 minutes and then I run out of words I know.

For Monday, now that the JPY news hit is done we see this nice set up with the USD/JPY. This is a picture perfect #3 EA set up. Price ran outside the BB, price came back inside, is taking a breather and looks for a retracement until the next news hits. You cant use the #1 EA because the BB has run off the screen but the primary trade set up is there. SO we use the #3 EA. Most of you JPY pairs are in this set up.

USD/CAD could set up a third time as a secondary trade. I show the support line it has been bouncing off of. You can turn on the #1 EA and see if it goes there again. Be a really nice trade if it does.

Most of the EUR pairs qualify as secondary trades also. Can use the #1 or wait on the #3 line to go back up. Here is a eur gbp

for the bulge sell to be effective, don't we have to make sure the price shoots up sharply first before turning on the ea? otherwise, it could just go up a bit then come to trigger the ea and then keep shooting up for the real spike

I spent the better part of three years in Korea teaching brats and paying off credit card debt incurred while in graduate school. The first two years there was a wonderful time, but the final 7 months, for a different employer, were essentially Hell on earth. I was lucky to find a better job when I did, and now I'm getting paid better teaching math, Science, English, and Social Studies.

In any case, enough derailment. Thanks for everything and for your continued dedication to this method. Also, good luck to you in China, and in the wonderful world of Forex!

I will be in China this coming May, as my mother is a prof of ESL at a university here in the states(traveling along). You are in HK, Cantonese land?

I have a few questions about your method:

-Why not write an EA that's always on? One that goes long/short according EA#1 for example?
I understand that your EA gives some leeway for discretion, but what are the results of by the book trading of this method?

-I see up/down arrows on my charts. I also see purple vertical lines. Only the purple lines are mentioned briefly in the latest documentation. None of your posts show the up/down arrows. They do not appear to correspond to the rules of your system. Can you explain?

-I installed your latest release, yet my template shows v5.2 Have you not released v5.3?

Ouch, my gut hurts! I'm glad you are being gentle here

I have read the documentation and I'm actually a prolific trader, I make a living from it, believe it or not. (or not in your case).
Is this not a forum, where we ask questions? I didn't see answer to my questions in the documentation, and they were basic questions, ones that require little energy to respond.

I was a programmer in real life, before I started trading. I do know what stupid questions feel like

Price has already spiked now its time for the retracement.
