What Bob is trying to get across to everyone is capital preservation. You can be - pips but be + $ and that is what matters the most. If you need more info FTI has a great thread. And that is what is so great about bob's EA is it does it for you. Thank you Bob and crew for all your hard work.

very, very interesting. so you go to the 1h chart for the first entry. if it doesnt work out, then one attempt at recovery on a 4h chart....

why not 4h chart for the first entry, and then 4h again if you need a second entry? just curious.... is it simply because you are testing other time frames just to see how it goes?

edit: and yes, like i said in the study thread some time ago, #2 EA is better than #1. and #3 bulge trades if you are there to take it, is better than #2. but those bulge trades you gotta be there for that spike if you leave it there, sometimes, the price goes through and comes back without a true spike and the EA will take the trade for you. you have to be there watching the picture to take it correctly.

That comment is separate from this system. It is a test program running the #1 EA 24/7.

Man I cant get out of these trades fast enough with FXSol. These have now taken 63.82 in premium fees out of my profits at FXSolUK. What a bunch of crooks these guys are. Get out of them as fast as I can and that is only for 16 days in August.

i finished trading this pair. it can move for thousands of pips without any retrace. and as a bonus, my broker offers a spread of about 13 pips.

I posted this at a FXsol UK thread here at FF.

I am angryier than H............ about FXSol UK. They just made a big deal about how they lowered their spreads but what they dont tell you is they charge the swaps daily off of your account and call it a premium fee. They then take the fee daily off of your account. This has some kind of compounding affect because the fees are through the roof. I trade dime lots and this is a new way brokers are out to take your money.

June -- 134 trades swap charge for the month -16.66
July -- 106 trades swap charge for the month -11.91
August --256 trades swap charge for the month -29.72
September 1-16 -- 114 trades for only the first 16 days -63.82
That is 28% of my profit so far for the month they have stolen back with their new premium charges. I also made profit all three months I show above so I am a successful trader.

Dont go to them now they will steal your money through their new premium fee. The trading and execution is excellent but they wont let you keep your profits they are going to premium it right back out of the account.

Hi Bob,

These cowboys are FSA regulated & the FSA has just had a good shaking about their role in the bank bailouts etc, so they have suddenly found some teeth.

Maybe an idea to ask your broker to justify how the charges are made up and tell them you will refer the matter to the FSA.

Not defending fx sol here but I called them this am. and they said the premium fee is the same cost to us as the swap fees were . Have you traded more lots in sept? Your turnover of trades in the previous months may have been faster so lower swap fees? I compared these premium fees to IBFX's swap over the last two days on a .08 lot trade and fx sol was .53 cents more than IBFX. So if you're trading dimes the difference isn't much. Just trying to keep you from blowing a blood vessel here Bob. Oh and I'm sure you're aware that swap rates are tripled every wed. for both brokers.

bob, can u get a UK fxcm a/c in china? i know they have a lot of bad rep.... but what you are describing is outrageous. fxcm uk is what i am using and as u know, i am in hong kong.

They changed their accounting method, it used to be simple you looked at the trade and then you saw the swap right next to it. Now you see a number, you have to go match it with a currency pair and it takes a long time to figure out what is what. The swap was part of the trade now it is dedutcted from your profits and it takes a lot of work to figure out what they are doing. They have figured out a way to confuse the issue so you really dont know what they are doing. I dont have time to play around with a company that obviously is trying to hide something. Yes the charges can be the same but if you play with the accounting you can compound the mathmatic figures and make sure no one can see what your are really doing. It used to be at one glance you knew exactly what the swap was and it wasnt coming out of your profits, it was part of the trade. Now they are reducing your already cleared profits with charges that werent deducted until your trade was closed. Doing this somehow changes the math and allows them to collect more money. So they can say the charges are the same but they are not. They are burying the the truth behind a new accounting system. So instead of accumulating the charges, deducting them every day somehow changes it. You dont really know unless you are willing to go through the entire accounting method to try to find out. This has been deliberately muddled so you wont do that. The only reason a company would try to change what was a very clear and easy to understand number to a hidden one is they are hiding something and it is showing up on the bottom line. That part they cant hide. The bottom line is this. Deducting the charges every day from your profits gets them more money than doing it at the close of the trade. Some accountant out there probably could figure it out but I dont have time for that. At this rate, it is going to cost me 125-150 bucks a month in premiums when I used to pay 10-25. You tell me that is the same charges, that is BS big time.

Remember this I have accumulated more in the first 16 days of Sept. more premium charges than the last 3 months put together. It is not some small difference.

You are right, some clever clogs in fxsol has figured out a way to increase profits by changing the way they charge swap fees. I am going to email FSA and complain, they will know for sure if something underhand is being down. It is logical to say something is not right. First of all any practice which makes the charges less clear is not in the consumer’s interest and secondly they seem to be the only company which has such a practice.
