Thanks for explaining that Vanatage sometimes I forget to look at the bigger picture and concentrate to much on the candles wanting perfect ones. I am getting better though and have finaly started trading 2Bs and they are working well.
My plan will be trade from LO to about 15.30 waiting patiently for the very best setups with the best RR.
Just one more question then I'll leave you alone haha.When you say LO head fake do you mean GU will usually fake before London open or fake after LO and take real direction about half an hour into LO?

In and around LO 8-9.30 gmt prob 70% of the time you'll get a move that will reverse. Can't narrow it down more than that. Throw in the Frankie half hour reversal and you get the bank key levels rule. Also you get the idea of 125 pip range from last turn after LO.

Go back (not Aug though due to hols) and start looking at charts, you could start with 1hr or 30 min and see how many days have some move and reversal in this time slot. Once you've got that clear in your head the expectation of turns will hopefully just click. You can then look for those signals whether it be vol say on 15 min and 5 min/1 min hl/lh + 2b's at extremes and at imortant levels.

You have to do the homework though to satisfy yourself that this IS a high prob event.

Cheers V I have done all the looking back through charts to see how many times it does turn and do the run ect before which has given me the confidence to go for the 125pip run.

I just got a bit confused as the trade before LO you wanted to do earlier you said "This would be a classic LO head fake move down and the move up would then be in line with the daily chart (CII divergence and hammer)." and this was before LO but I understand now what you meant.

Hi V,

great work on the thread as always.

Sorry to hear things have been a bit up and down recently. That's trading I guess.

Same problem here this week (my fault, bad discipline) , hence spending a few hours this weekend studying winners and failures to see how I can make improvements.

Your reversal method is priceless IMHO, I am doing loads of work / study on the higher timeframes, I like H1 best but the daily and weekly reversals are looking good too so thanks again.

Yep 2 weeks into month and things ain't looking good, system works stick with it and don't get crazy chasing rubbish.

OK and the hits just keep on coming.

Missed the move up which looked really good on 1 min. One of our old 2nd 1 min hl's with CII divergence if I recall.

Left arrow down. Got this lh after larger than normal FH move, 70 pips is upper level of range. Entry was actually from 1 min again, 2nd lh on that chart. Set up from 15 min candle a doji after strong move up to Y's high/M1/75 psych level confluence.

We lost connection for around 7-8 mins and we had the push down to 50 level target. We were offline for that (think fxpro issue not our connection) and got out at BE.

Right arrow down. Wasn't in front of computer for this one. 1hr had nice shooting star and a pos close candle that couldn't close above 75 level. A head and shoulders pattern on 15 min with the neg close right shoulder on increased vol. Perfect shooting star lh on 5 min.

No.2 a 2B aftet LO fake and at the top of daily range (chart below) I only got 7 on this the other half got stoped out at BE.
No.3 a LH after a failed brekout of wedge (I missed this one)

15min chart
No.1 upper wick showing weakness for trade No.2 on 5min.
No.2 a SS type candle after wedge fakeout.

H1 chart big exhastion bar stopped at resistance.

You do much today V?

Sorry to hear about your tribulations, but, yes, M1 could be a way out of them I am now totally convinced of that, M1, for the morning session.

The journey down was a nice. low-risk, M1 LH with divergence as well

And on the No.1 entry on the 5min the arrow should be 2more bars to the right. Then the 15min was with you.

We had a big loss of connection missed an exit at 50 level after 1 min sell at 5468. It went quiet took a break and when we came back big move down had happened.

So our month way below targets continues. Again no reason to panic, its not like we are taking crappy trades all over the place. We just need to calm down to a panic and keep focused on a great system that gives good trades.

Yep there were loads of good setups today could have easily put 10% on to an account today risking 1.5% per trade. I am doing another month on low % then will start working my way up as I feel I am confident enough to now. and since I've been on low risk I have learnt to use bigger targets which has helped alot and not stressfull to learn on low %.

I tried out a 7RB set up but after 2 days of big gaps when I opened charts (so you can't trust CII) I have taken off and back to 1 min.

I frequenty took 5-10 trades a day, now down to a couple. I struggled to make your/Islanders methods work consistently. Prob couldn't see the wood for the trees. On good trends 1 min entries were great but I struggled with the counter trend stuff. So a few small losses were messing up the decent trade results.

I'll have a think about it again focusing on key levels, CII divergence and a couple of my old trade set ups like 2nd 1 min hl/lh's and 1 min entries after higher charts set up. Oh and the classic trade the reaction to key levels if that wasn't clear.

I don't want to go crazy due to 2 weeks poor trading and forget the basic set ups here work as the 70 pip run down on gu clearly shows.

Yep and if I recall Fri was also an easy 10% plus day. So missing out on trades over a couple of days is the diff between +2% for the month and +25% for the month.

Problem, what problem. If the issue is missing trades not being at computer but they are system trades then I mustn't let this speed wobble worry me.

OK tomorrow is going to be a great day and again problem, what problem!

Gaps in the range bar chart?

Restart your platform and allow the m1 data to be converted by the range bar expert this should remove gaps.

Oh Auron I've also taken off the 30 min not sure if it really added anything. So after a gander at D chart I have 1hr, 15, 5 and 1 min charts up.

The last LH trade would have given you 7.5% on its own! It gets so tempting to go up % staright away after a few good days but I know I will just get psych problems if I go up to big to fast.
So need to be disciplined and keep it low till the end of sept.
