He would be a living example of what he's teaching. But if the teacher himself, with all the knowledge of supppsed 25+ years of trading experience, can't make money trading, then what are the odds that his pupils will be successful ?
He already has many successful pupils, so he's proved you wrong.

I don't know about that, when one of his fellow instructors left a while back and they had a rift and open fight on FF, it was posted on FF that he paid him around $200 a month, so I doubt that he pays 5 figures...unless the guy was in Japan and got paid in Yen.
As I said, he should not post when he is mad.

First of all, I'm interested in the teacher's success, because he's the one who's charging money.

Secondly, who are those successful pupils ? what proofs do we have that they're really successful using j16 teachings ?

OF course they should take care before starting to pay, go study for free first. Which is what I did, started to become successful, then never saw the need to pay james.

Reading this thread livens up an otherwise dull and boring start to the Asian session, but really this is getting to the point of being downright absurd.

I was a member for of the j16 site for 1 month a couple of years ago and was impressed with the quality of the people/material but felt that I needed to focus more on my own approach to trading so I self selected out. The content on the private site is really quite good, Mike puts up some really great videos and they really teach more about using support/resistance and price action bars in concert, so they are not just trading pin bars.

Personally had I spent the few hundred bucks right off the bat and joined a group like Jims I would have saved myself a lot of money, but no I had to try and figure it out for myself on forums. I mean really lets be real about this given the amount of crappy threads this on forum, any newbie would be hard pressed to ever eke out any success.

I don't really give a flying F**k whether or not Jim is a millionaire from trading or some bum living on the street, the fact remains that he provides good content and good service to the people that have used his site.

it's a synergy of good instructor/good athlete.
of course there are instructors who have been previous athletes themselves, but that isnt always the case, & that's a different matter.

another example... sports commentators.
they comment well, know whatever the sports' ins & outs, but most/some can never play/have never played that particular sport they're commenting on.

Yes, for $129 you can get the top 10 trading books (if you can't find them for free on the internet.) Let's not forget that the majority of trading books out there are a rehash of the classics so that they appeal more to the moden reader. If you`re into reading, naturally you`ll spend much more than those $129, but it's enough to cover the basics.

I practiced fitness&bodybuilding for several years. Haven't seen one instructor in the gym who doesn't look like he's doing what he's teaching. Ok, I read about some former champion who now has some fat around the waist,and doesn't look as good as in his contest days, but is still a personal trainer. There's no problem in that, he has his track-record that speaks for him.

And there is another problem. Those fat football coaches for example, never pretend that they're very good players. Everyone knows that their expertise is coaching, if they get in the field, they may die of a heart attack.

This isn't the case with j16. he implies that he's successful trader, but brings no proof. So any rational person must conclude that he is not.

look, one can only do so much. i believe u (& others) have made it clear in your posts that u are forewarning people. that's as far as u can go, unfortunately. the next steps are up to the person to decide.

personally, i havent joined the J16 private group. currently i dont have the extra time, money & specially the need to join. i have read some parts of the free thread, viewed the free videos & it was enough for me. as everybody knows, trading is doing. practice & experience improves the trader.
if i ever join, im fully aware i can opt out anytime.

we can only go as far as forewarn people, the rest is up to them.
manage your own money, or let others get access to/manage your money.
