I must admit I was actually in tears laughing at his response. Thank heavens there's at least one person here who can spot the blatently obvious.

Now that a few more details of J16's business are at last in the public domain, I expect we'll be seeing a few more revelations.

James is the one pretending to be a great trader, the burden of proof is on him.

He is not going to show anything on a service like myfbook.com or currensee.com to verify his trading skill's because he doesn't trade like all those "teachers" out there.

i just wanna address some of your comments (obviously i cant address all). i will only air thoughts i think are relevant &/or possible answers to your thoughts/comments. English is not my main language, so i hope whatever i say will be understood clearly.

assuming u are correct that he is inconsistent, can u not accept it as a honest mistake?
assuming u are correct that he is inconsistent, can u not accept that he's being humble, meaning he does have 30/30+ yrs experience, but prefers to profess 'only 20/25+ yrs' to others he speak to/interact with (& in the process he slips & says 25yrs & at other times 30yrs)?
these are the possibilities for me.

if i remember correctly, his private forum was borne out of requests. merlin discussed it with him, James16 said 'no' for a few months, James deliberated, then finally took it on. & it grew from there.
regarding the hobby-business 'disconnect'/'misrepresentation'/'inadmission', i can understand his perspective: he never intended it to be a business; he never planned it..... he viewed it as a 'hobby'. i believe this is an issue of perspective - his perspective of the private group & your perspective about it. Each person's perspective differs & James calling (& internalizing) the business as 'hobby' is absolutely not surprising. just like in trading, perspective is abundant.
This 'hobby' perspective is probably the reason why he abhors being labeled as 'commercial' & having his thread placed in the Commercial section of FF.
btw, im sure u are aware that there are 'hobbies' & 'serious hobbies'. i believe James takes this 'hobby' seriously.
also, by giving views/comments like these (specially the 'humble helper/white knight' description) it might be unfair.. u might be getting ahead of yourselves, putting the cart before the horse, when the other side has not mentioned the complete story (James entry to FF, what his motives were for joining FF, how the private group started, etc).

also, i think he feels FF is 'part of his family' so he shares his private life & private views/emotions from time to time. & i welcome that (talking about non-trading stuff sometimes, to reduce stress/boredom brought about by trading & to 'add life' to our daily interactions here).
although i understand, u being skeptical, try to associate all his actions to one who is using tactics, etc.

not many people care to share their edges. at least James16 teaches something (in the free thread & paid group), i believe that's a good headstart for us younger & newer traders.

based on your post, it's easy for me to see that u are more logical than emotional. i dont blame u for that, that is your personality. i am like you to a certain degree.
but u have to accept that we are all unique, & the views, preferences, perspectives, principles u have & uphold are not necessarily shared by others.

J16 is called a scammer because he can't or will not produce his trading account ie no proof.

But his naysayers can call him a scammer even though there has not been a shred of evidence that anyone was scammed ie no proof.

It gets dangerous when anyone can assert anything behind the veil of anonymity.
I would think that for one to be able to put on another such hideous accusations, there should be loads of evidence to show. But until now, there has been nothing.

J16 is running an educational service, not an investment service.
This has been repeated many times before.

One thing I don't believe is that J16 runs his PF is not for money.

No. this is not sufficient to call him a scammer, just because of this. As far as he can deliver the teaching properly for paid member, no one can complain. And only paid members can complain.

If you say he is not trustworthy because of he cannot prove his performance, fair enough. However, to accuse him as a scammer, accusers instead of him have to provide evidences.

I hope you did not take my post out of context and accuse me of calling J16 a scammer.

For the record I don't know him, I have never thought of him as a scammer, and I will never call someone names without evidence, especially in a public forum.

Good post. I don't think he is a scammer but I also don't think he does it as a hobby or only b/c he likes to help people. As I said before the best thing for him to do is ignore this thread and not post self promoting posts, as he will open the door for more of these kind of posts, which are well reasoned.

Let it be and let the chips fall were they may. Self promoting posts are like having a good looking girlfriend, you know everyone is gonna be hitting on her, it goes with the territory.

I think it was planned from the beggening. Where there was an argument between James and Clockwork (regarding his commercial thread), he (Clockwork) mentioned it planned from the beggening. Please understand what money one can make by selling this kind of services where there are almost no expenses.
