It was a classic buy the rumour/hope and sell the news/fact, in this case the joke of a press release as a result of some intense BoJ meetings, where they said ... you guessed it, fx moves need to be watched and the economy needs help. You just knew there'd be nothing beyond grade 6 that these guys would issue ... good chance the news conference due @ 5:30GMT in 2hrs will cause another dump on UJ/GJ/crosses, as I'm sure some official will do something completely non-stellar. Should see at least 132.3/132 still. Sterling weakness has also appeared; not sure what to expect from today's UK holiday.

On a slightly more serious note, it's interesting to note that BoJ only admits to intervening with yen pair buying when they have actually been successful at moving the pairs; there are plenty of suspicions out there that they have failed at intervention, yet they never ever admit those wasted resources.

Shamu, how did you know it was the right place to short? Can you post up a chart? Mine didn't give any indication of shorting. It was more like picking top for me. Thanks much!

Long have to be careful and using sl , not so sure but my old view we did enter RES area between the red lines , maybe again a rang inside
**13065 /63 will be my next buying area with tight sl
