He does. He has somewhere listed here how many pips (on average) you should wait for certain pairs to move before reentering.

Hi Bob
Just a simple question here: When you're changing version and have to reload the different EAs, do u uninstall the MT4 and reload the EAs, Indicators etc?

I test them on a demo first and then copy and paste them into the EA section with new names and compile. The other way would be to copy and paste into the MT4 folder. When I test them on a demo I use two currency pair chart for each buy and sell so i have one buy on the eur/usd and one sell on another chart with eur/usd. You just want to see if they work change the Time frames form 4H to 1M and they you can test them on the 1M chart. Dont forget to change it back to 4H when you go live.

I was refering to the TP of 50 for the EAs versus TP of 40 part of the discussion. Maybe a TP of 50 (or 40) for all EAs, and at all times, is not the best approach.

Hi Bob,

what do you usually do in this kind of situation? The bluey reached the other side already. Shall I close L2 and wait for another reentry or wait for it to hit the BE point? Thanks.

One of the things I try to teach people is to get out of trader mentality. Forex is not stocks bonds futures etc. Traders only make up a small section of the Forex market. The market moves 3-5 Trillion dollars every day, in one week more money is moved than the entire debt of the United States Govt. Most people cant even fathom that number. I always smile when so called experts predict the market will be doing this or that because that is what traders will be doing. Traders dont really move the market. They may cause a small stampede at times but the Forex market is business, trillions of dollars of it. When there is a run on a currency banks and institutions have to reload their depleted currencies. At some point banks have to reload the amount of GBP they have sold off. So the gbp/jpy has to go back up again. Customers dont want to hear, we are afraid the gbp/jpy is going down some more, so we have no more gbp in stock. They want their pounds exchanged from the yen or usd or aud or whatever. So price will always retrace, always. When I used the illustration a couple of pages ago about the truck sales GMC want their money, govt. want their money, businesses want their money. When I open my school here in CHina I have people from 11 different countries in my school. I dont and they dont wait for banks to reload their funds at a favorable time. I want my money now. I dont give a rip whether the gbp/jpy moved 300 pips yesterday. I want my exchange. Put the money in my pocket. So I buy gbp/jpy knowing it is going to retrace. I did and the JPY retraced all over the board and I made some nice pips on it.

I have just closed out my EUR/CHF position which yesterday was not looking good at all. This was my 1st recovery trade and i even managed a small profit. This system is amazing. I used the 242 system but next time i will try 1133.

In my case I am test basket trading 30 pairs, using the phover dashboard, but on the 1H TF.

4506 pips this week, an average of 150 pips per pair - but floating draw-down too high.

Early days yet, but Bob's strategy has definite possibilities on lower time frames.

I went to bed last night with my running trades looking rather sad with a lot of running losses and woke up to find that all (apart from CADCHF) had closed at profit! Fantastic . Now waiting for the CadChf L1 and L2 to break-even. Seems to be heading that way.

Of course if it was not for the small lot size I don't think I would have actually gone to bed

I did not think I would have the patience to babysit a trade for three days, but this system, combined with small lots, makes it simple.

But despite the small lot size I am up about 2% in equity using 0.01 lots. Pip count wise is not that much because with a lot of L1, L2 trades the pip count does not reflect the actual profit.

It is not glamorous talking about cents and pennies in FX, not when we are bombarded daily with how you can make thousands a day, so I always think in terms of percentages. If I can consistently achieve the % then that it all that matters.

I just found out why I haven't managed any trades this week. Sodding IBFX have turned ECN, so the ea's were trying to send trades and failing because of invalid stops.

These clowns bombard my platform with notifications of their blasted webinars. Every damn time I want to check on how trades are going, I first have to get rid of the latest blasted notification

Idiots. As soon as I have made back the money I lost in my early days of gambling, it is going elsewhere.

I have put my SL to BE. Then it went down but I have managed to close it before BE, +19pips.

I thought it was strange because I loaded it on Sunday night and so far has made 240 pips profit with 2 open trades -100 pips. I thought you had selected more stringent settings, hence, less trades. It is a shame because lately they were giving good service and everything was fine. Then they stopped daily hedge, 5 digit and now other tricks. I think everyone using EAs with IBFX should select ECN to true (it was not taking trades with your david trend EA till I changed the ECN setting).

I hear you brother. I moved everything (from IBFX) over to FX Sol. UK. months ago. I was getting tired of their spread widening all the time. They've been promising a UK branch for close to a year. FX Sol spreads are higher but fixed. They allow hedging and offer 400:1 leverage. I like'um so far." Hells bells and buckets of blood." You come up with some great one liners.

You don't have to reinstall MT4 when changing versions.

Is it just me or is today very slow? The last couple of days I took 18 trades (only looking for primary trades quallified with RWB) but today I am not finding any!

I'm not looking for secondary trades due to my still lack of confidence in spotting them.

Hi, I am a newbie to the forum .

I heard about nanningbob's 4HEA, inside the forum in a different thread.
I downloaded the 4th version , it didnot open; downloading the 5th version didnot work also.

Should I download the first version , first ? That one I couldn't find anywhere.

Where should I ,( which thread / page) ; should I start studying/learning this EA ?
This is my first post . I will appreciate it a lot ,if someone helps.

I love reading posts of guys who finally get it and how this works. Yes you can go to bed and know you account isnt going to get bombed to smitherines. I just got home after 15 hours at school and not one time did I look at my trades. The MPTM socked away over 25 dollars in profits and another good move for the USA session could do even more. I have 12 trades that anything from a 50-70 pip in moves would give me another really good day. This time though I dont have to take any hits because I eliminated both of my bad DD trades yesterday. Congratulations and whenever you feeled skilled to the point your willing to use 10K or more you will do with confidence knowing your original balance is pretty secure, not perfiect I know that, but you can then make a little part time money. Good question and tough decision. If you can babysit the trade trade a trend line from the previous highs and if it breaks through those highs stay. If it doesnt take the profit and set the #3 EA or #1 and do it again.
