So sad.. I closed my AUDCHF (-105 pips) 10 hours ago. Yet Aud is still going up.

I didnt close any trades but I turned off my EAs on those pairs. I didnt say close existing ones.

I'm trying to figure out why my #1 buy EA reentered on a second touch of the Bol B. I had left EA on after the first touch so it would reenter a second level trade at 200 pips down but it entered another L1 trade at the next touch when I was only about 100 pips down.

Hi Bob

I found this thread last week and since then I have read the manuals 3 times and the whole thread. I think one of the greatest things about this system (apart from that it works) is that is teaches patience, which I for one had been lacking, to the detriment of my profits.

I have started last week with only EA1 primary trades although already experienced L1 and L2 trades on the EURCHF dive. Although dumb luck had me put a much bigger lot size on L2 than intended hence it got to BE much quicker

I also had an AUDCHF long trade since Friday. I would have panicked normally and closed at a loss but with the combination of a smaller lot size and patience I actually closed it with 20 pip profit. It is still going up but I'm happy with what I got for now. Another three trades currently going and in profit.

Still have a lot to learn but I can see this is a great system.

One thing I am not sure about is that I see in your reports that you setup EAs on almost all pairs even when RWB is not where it is supposed to be. I know you mentioned that in some cases RWD is not the main thing so I will go through the thread again and make some notes.

The EAs are set to enter at the BB, they are not set to reenter at 200 like the old ones did. Steve's EAs are not the martingale EAs of the past. They trade once and quit but if you reset them they will enter again. That is why we put the line in on the EAs so you know if you were reentering too soon or often. I reenter at 100 pips sometimes depending on what I think the market will do or the currency pair. I certainly wouldnot with the gbp/nzd or eur/nzd or other volatile pairs but the slower pairs I will at times. If my read is reversal now, like daily or weekly S/R level I will do that too.

Carefully read the section on secondary trades. They are based on a previous primary trade but price has moved back to that position. Me because I trade such small lots I am taking almost anything beyond the outside lines unless I have a good reason not too. But I dont teach that but I do that. In other words, do as I say, not as I do.

I didn't reset this EA and it reentered on the next touch. So I guess you have to set a limit order to enter a L2 trade if your not going to be around. What if you get a big move after a L1 trade kicks in during the night before you can place a limit order for a L2. You then may have too much space between trades. I for one liked the old EA's that kicked in the L2 or L3 at set steps.

Quite right too. When I started trading this system I was duplicating your trades, trade for trade and that was a big mistake. What I realized is you are much more experinced than me and this is your creation you know it inside out. Moreover, I found it is best to limit the number of trades I have open at any one time, since it may get out of hand and lead to confusion. In other words first we have to learn to walk then we can start thinking about running and much, much later we can think about Marathons.

They are Steve's EAs meant to be traded once and then take a read before entering a 2nd level. Instead of an AUTO enter we read the best position for the 2nd level. Version 5.1 were the old EAs you just have to add the levels and pips to reenter. Maybe next weekend I can post those separately. THe #5 EAs are the old type if you want to reset them for multple entrances. You could set reenter at 200 and reset the Magic number to match the existing trade. However, if you are using the MPTM this will cause the EA to close all the levels if it is activated not just one level like we have it now. So chooose your poison.

2 questions, and please redirect me if u have started a thread for the panel (which would be great to do IMO)..

So, regarding the panel:
1) it looks like the RWB dot shows correctly when blue/white are above/below, but the RSI line is NOT accurately included in the calcs...since its overlayed on the stochs visually, it seems as tho we need to actually CHECK the chart to see where RSI (red) is or is not and if it in fact is in OB/OS territory with the stoch lines. Is this correct or am I missing something, and if I am correct is there any way to address it and include the RSI reading and placement correctly in the next version? I suspect perhaps not, because the ea is making indi calls, it isnt "reading" the indi placement on the chart as overlaid like we see visually...any just curious

2) will the next version have alerts on conditions being met, and even better email alerts? That would rock!

3) will the next version of the EA include auto re-entry options broken up by pair volatility?

sorry to be a pain, phover, but one more quick question/request:
Looks like TP mode 3 now (middle BB) sets the TP when the order is placed. Thats fine, but would it be possible to have that TP dynamically adjust as the middle BB line moves? That would be optimal.

Hi,

There is no thread for the panel yet, but I'll open one when v2 will be ready.

1) The red line (MACD) is include in the calculation. To calculate it, I use the number of bars that you see in the respective charts and value of MACD is rescale to 0-100 with the minimum/maximum value that you see on the chart. It's not based on a fixed number of bars. If you change the scale of the chart then the red line change too. If STO are over/under OB/OS, the panel will show a yellow dot is MACD if over/under 75/15 and green dot when MACD over/under 85/15.
2) For v2 no. But it's in my plan to integrated different kind of alerts;
3) yes, available for all ea
4) for dynamic TP: already done (in v2)
