How to copy/paste in mt4?

Hi, I have a newbie question about mt4. I have an indicator in my mt4 custom indicator folder that I apparently deleted off of my desktop and I didn't save it anywhere. What is the simple process for taking that same mt4 indicator off of my mt4 platform and putting it onto my desktop? I've done this before a few years ago but I don't recall the process. Why whould you put an indicator on your desktop? You can't use it in MT4 from your desktop.

Figured you would picked it up how to do it by now...

When I download an mt4 indicator I download it to my desktop for temporary and easy access, then I load it onto mt4 then onto a chart and examine it on several time frames going back one year and deduce whether it has any merit or not. If it has merit I will store it, if it doesn't I merely delete it off of my desktop.

Locate the file through explorer or My computer and then click on the file copy and click on your desktop & paste.
