I was up trying to catch GY moves overnight but napped when action didn't look upcoming, and missed what was a <20 minute bull entry window as GU dipped to 1.55 again, and then rode back up to almost yesterday's high. VSA called this move easily, and hindsight confirms the low risk of a buy down there, with a tight stop loss. Key was forexlive's insight that big buyers were at that level yesterday, and either they added or others piled in. Makes GU look pretty bullish to me and I'd expect new highs perhaps even during today's NY session. The 50% fib of yest's high looks to currently be providing good support at 1.56183. Looks like good buying 3 M30 bars ago too.
Note how significantly UJ was just bought down at 85.16. Equities have opened down, but I'd expect a rise from here. Should the Philly news cause a downturn, I'd expect more UJ/yen cross buyers towards 85. Think I'll wait until after the news, and hope we don't have the lethargy that almost all of yesterday's NY session delivered. The 1100 S&P ceiling is tough, and there is a chance that it might need to bounce down to tease/build more buyers/strength.
