Guys, can you see unusually high volume on your USDJPY charts, or is FXCM messing about?

I've got tomorrow off of my slaving job, so I'll be around to make some coin. Additionally, I was thinking of what signal could have alerted me to get long EU at around 7:15 GMT when rate started to rally. Upon inspection of the 5M chart I noticed two sets of near mirror bar reversals where the up volumes were consecutively larger and successively greater. The bars in question are highlighted in yellow; however, I do not know the proper VSA designation for this formation. If someone would clue me in, I would be appreciative. ~ Many Thanks.

above 1.5700 then we see 5820

there was an upthrust on the 4 hour at 1.5700 that had supply entering the market , showed very well on a 30 min

I had it, but I'm also using fxcm, in demo mode. I've had a few of these lately. Bloody annoying.

If anyone is considering buying TG, now might be a good time. They've decided that they wont sell it in the future. They're gonna lease it instead for $2000 a year. For the next 3 weeks they're selling it for $3000 (I think) so get in now if ya want it.

Of course the money would be put to better use paying Malcolm for a vsa lesson instead

OR you could read MTM and put in hundreds of hours of screen time to get to malcombs level instead

There's another piece of nonsense with the volume on AUDUSD. I too am only messing around with FXCM's demo platform but I can't say I'm overly impressed.

I have been using FXCM for some time now and have been very impressed with them but, for the last week to 10 days their feed has been awful. Not sure whats going on.

I personnally stopped using FXCM because of their data feeds. Now I use InterbankFX and GFT.

Don't go near Europe either Anyway, I over analysed today and am totally lost. Seems like EU shows more strength than GU, but I just don't know! Gonna take a break.

I have a demo account at ODL. Since they have been acquired by FXCM their feed shows a couple of irregular volume spikes. The week before last week they were sending me a miniscule 4-digit price stream for four days. The automatic scaling of MT4 made reading volume therefore quite difficult. But, I have to mention, their customer service attended very professionally to a loyal, long-time demo account client.

It doesn't really matter if it's a 5 or 4 digit broker, since VSA is about relative volume. It was annoying, of course, to see IBFX switch to 5 digits, because volume increased like mad, but on lower timeframes you were good to go after like 30 mins. As long as it's a stable platform, volume should be mostly the same everywhere.
