ps : my lot size is inconsistent as i take larger risk, when ever due necessary in price movement.. , my 0.01 = 1 penny/pip

ps : anyway to find out the pip gains rather then seeing it in term(dollars), as it will be difficult to post my results..
Does anyone know how I can get the pip readings rather than the dollar readings on the account balance?

What I normally do is sort by Symbol and Show profit by Points ..... you can then quickly summarize the various pairs quickly by Currency and Pips, and even then apply the Weekly filter (or customize)

trading based solely on BB NICE, just curious which EA did you use ? #4 ?

Update 5.3 is ready page 1 post 1. Includes EA #7 and how to use it. EA #5. Steve's EA with 200 pip lines. Couple of New indicators updating coding changes. etc. Have fun.

After intense study of this thread I came to a conclusion....or rather a wish....how wonderfull it would be to sit in the same room as Bob and Steve ... watching Bob trading his methods and (the way Steve codes..I would think that he is a master on the piano as well) ...Steve must play his piano. I can only think that it will be an "once in a lifetime" experience!!

I have no words...you guys are extraordinary!!

Here is #7 with the re-entry line added. I have changed nothing else apart from the comment in #7 Sell, which included 'Buy' instead of 'Sell'. My copy/pasting bugs are spreading.

I was doing ok with the divergence just using blind luck. With Bob's added sauce, this should be fantastic.

Which #EA have you been using when trading MACD divergence? I am going to try this next week on demo.

Nanningbob mentioned in the updates you could to well with the divergence indicator and #5 EA.

Steve is trading manually the divergence if the arrows appear...
He will correct me if I'm wrong!

This was purely on demo and taking the trades manually off a FX5 signal.

I upgraded the #7 EA in post 1. It now has the line drawing feature and the comment section was corrected. 26 people have the #7 EA 25.2.2 version which enters the same but is missing that added line feature. The correct version will say 25.2.3 on the #7 EA. Sorry for the mistake.

Trading the FX signal with the #3 EA or the #5 EA would be good trade I think. But I have not tried that strategy yet off of the FX signal but have with the Bulge of the BB. I love the #3 EA with the Bulge, those are great trades.

Dang had to go back 6 pages to find this thing. SHeeeeeeeesh. I talk too much. Ok Friday very quiet day. Not much happened but did enter a couple of more trades. My computer internet was down so I missed some trades. Not much new stuff for Monday.

I will divide currency pairs into four major groups based on their percentage of times they will move over 300 pips in one week. Here are the 4 groups:

1.VERY VOLATILE GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK MORE THAN 75% OF THE TIME.
a. GBP/NZD, EUR/NZD, GBP/AUD, GBP/CAD, GBP/JPY
b. This group if you trade them you will want to use a reentery of 250 pips plus. This will be explained later in the 2.4.2 recovery system.
2.VOLATILE GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK MORE THAN 50% OF THE TIME
a.GBP/CHF, CAD/JPY, EUR/CAD, EUR/AUD, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY
b. This group if you trade them you will want to use a reentery of 200 pips.
3.MEDIUM VOLATILE GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK MORE THAN 25% OF THE TIME.
a. NZD/JPY, AUD/CHF, AUD/JPY, USD/JPY, EUR/USD, NZD/CHF, CAD/CHF,
b. This group if you trade them you will want to use a reentry of 150-200 pips.
4. LOW VOLATILITY GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK LESS THAN 25% OF THE TIME.
a. AUD/NZD, NZD/USD, CHF/JPY, AUD/CAD, USD/CAD, NZD/CAD, AUD/USD, EUR/CHF, EUR/GBP
b.This group if you trade them you will want to use a reentry of 150

The distance from the top of the BB to the middle is 130 pips when the bands are narrow. Top of the screen to bottom is 1200-1500 pips normal. You want excitement, life boring for you, want hundred pip runs on a regular basis, only one time in the last two years has it failed to move more than 300 pips in one week. It moves over 900 pips in a week 40% of the time. When I see real good setups I will trade it with 300 pip reentries. You want excitement gbp/nzd will do it for you. Come on toothman want to practice your skills with the 2.4.2 system. This one will do it for you. You learn to trade this thing you can handle anything.
