The Iexposure indicator gives the BE price. I changed the color and text size so it is easier to read. It does not seem to have the problems of IBreakeven. Let me know if this is true. Also if someone can add the 0 numbers be back to the green color and only the live trades BE number is shown in red and white that would make it an easy read. Thank you.
Not quite sure if this is what you want, but you can see from my additions how to alter the colours.

I have put together some notes on using version 5. These are basically Bob's posts explaining how to use the various EA's & which one to choose in various situations.

The file is a .mht archive which can be opened in Internet Explorer. If you use Firefox, you will need to download an extension to be able to read it.

Hehe. It is no coincidence that my threads usually start with a few blood-curdling threats. I find it easier to head the intellectually-challenged off at the pass than to read their fevered rantings via my inbox. I am not naturally a lethally sarcastic person, but feel that people here should be behaving as adults and need to know when they are being stupid. The only chance they have to hang on to their cash is if those of us who have stopped losing ours, and maybe even started making some of our early losses back, make it clear that they are being silly.

Plus, I like giving people a laugh, but only in a good cause. If humiliating the occasional dipstick causes said turnip-brain to re-evaluate the financially-disastrous course upon which it is embarked, then its embarrassment is not a total punishment.

In the hands of the kids I teach, I am just a great big pussycat. I forgive them absolutely everything withoutthem even knowing there is anything to forgive; I know I am dealing with a kindred spirit here.

Back to the trading; in my terms, I made a bomb today. I am having a ball. Even the auto-trader kicked in big-time, and there really is no way to properly automate the trading we do here.

OK still working on my new reporting system. hey hey hey what a day...... what a day .............. YIPPEE IT WORKS IT WORKS. Was busy all day turning on EAs as price was bouncing all over the place. Love that #3 EA. made a killing with it on the gbp/nzd, gbp/jpy, and eur/jpy pairs. DID YOU SEE THAT 900 PIPS IN ONE DAY. HEY HEY HEY BRAG BRAG BRAG HA HA HA........ GONNA TAKE MY WIFE OUT TO THE NICEST RESTAURANT IN NANNING. The only currency not to get in the program is the aud/nzd. What's wrong with you boys down under anyway. DD is almost gone. Sitting good again for a another big day. .................

I will divide currency pairs into four major groups based on their percentage of times they will move over 300 pips in one week. Here are the 4 groups:

1.VERY VOLATILE GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK MORE THAN 75% OF THE TIME.
a. GBP/NZD, EUR/NZD, GBP/AUD, GBP/CAD, GBP/JPY
b. This group if you trade them you will want to use a reentery of 250 pips plus. This will be explained later in the 2.4.2 recovery system.
2.VOLATILE GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK MORE THAN 50% OF THE TIME
a.GBP/CHF, CAD/JPY, EUR/CAD, EUR/AUD, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, EUR/JPY
b. This group if you trade them you will want to use a reentery of 200 pips.
3.MEDIUM VOLATILE GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK MORE THAN 25% OF THE TIME.
a. NZD/JPY, AUD/CHF, AUD/JPY, USD/JPY, EUR/USD, NZD/CHF, CAD/CHF,
b. This group if you trade them you will want to use a reentry of 150-200 pips.
4. LOW VOLATILITY GROUP: THEY WILL MOVE OVER 300 PIPS IN ONE WEEK LESS THAN 25% OF THE TIME.
a. AUD/NZD, NZD/USD, CHF/JPY, AUD/CAD, USD/CAD, NZD/CAD, AUD/USD, EUR/CHF, EUR/GBP

I increased my account by 7% in one day. I dont think I have ever done that before. whooooooooo boy ...................... Sorry to get so excited but dang that felt good. Now I have to go to the office and try to get some work done. SHeeeeeeeeeesh. What a downer thought.

Although it is not a nice experience being on the receiving end it does make people think twice and reevaluate what they want to say. Bob`s Patience is legendary, he replies patiently to the silliest questions.

Can not wait to see Bob`s results for today. The last 24 hours were one of the best days ever. Both in terms of pips made and reduction on the -ve trades, I do hope everyone in this thread had a good day also. Looking forward very very eagerly (like a kid on Christmas day) to see Bob`s other ideas for the system.

Steve can we add one more detail to your EAs? When a trade is posted can it add a line 200 pips on the chart so guys have a better idea of where they should be reentering. I think that would help some of the newer ones in the 2.4.2 process so they wont be reentering trades too early.

This post is completely useless and just cluttering the thread... but need to say it:

I'm trading forex since about 10 years, more or less successfully. Fortunately more successfully then not, but still....
Since some years I'm following Steve on FF wherever he goes and was never deceived.
But this thread is definitely the top of what I was looking for.
Since some time I stopped all EA's running on my VPS... including my own
And I will stop looking for another holy grail... this way of trading here developed by Bob is just exactly what fits my way of trading.
Not far from amazing. 281 pips in 48 hours without sweating.

I have been trading forex live for the last 2 years, with mixed results. I traded without the use of any indicators just candlesticks and occasional lines. So far, this seems to me like a good system that gives you a concrete entrance but allows for variation in trade exits based on your experience. I have read all the attached documents, I just have one question about trade EA#4 for ranging markets. Can anyone point me to a good explanatin regarding that EA. I did not find anything on the forums.

My only addition would be Pivots and a Daily Open line in the template just gauge the sentiments on any given day or to facilitate in exits (for manual trades).

Here we go, Bob. These draw a lovely thick line defaulting to 200 pips from the opening price.

There are two inputs that allow users to customise the placing and colour of the line:

 

  1. ReEntryLinePips: the re-entry distance from the open price. I included this so we can have a more distant re-entry on the more volatile pairs.
  2. ReEntryLineColour: take a guess.

I re-downloaded the ea's from post 1, so the other defaults are as Bob released them.

It will be safe to put these ea's straight on to our live accounts. The new code is all concerned with the line; there are no alterations to the trading code. I think everything is correct but be warned; this involved a lot of copy/pasting.

Anyone here still unable to personalise inputs is missing a trick that saves acres of time. Go to http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=89371 and download the 'How to edit a script code'. The information in the pdf can be applied to any script, ea or indi that has editable source code available. It is the simplest thing in the world to personalise inputs; traders really, really, really should learn to do this as a matter of course.

Bob, I notice the safety feature is turned off by default. Is this how you get so many trades, by leaving the ea running until you make a conscious decision to remove it? Is this how you get so many secondary trades?

I will second this. I still have a couple of ea's forward testing on demo, but one of these the the auto-trader for this system.

I have not coded a trading robot all week. I have not wanted to, needed to or felt inclined even to consider one. Astonishing.
