Thanks everyone for the advice on my margin call but Im glad it happened. It got me out so that I could look for a better spot to re enter the trade. As for my fib I still think it's a good fib but if it's a bad pull It's okay I'll just use it as learning experince.

Okay I finally decided to exit my losing postion on the Gbp/Jpy. Lost a pretty nice chunk of my trading account but I turned around and put in mutiple buy positions on the Usd/Chf and replaced all my loses along with a small profit. As for right now im still long on the Usd/Chf.

We will get onto this at some point but you are obviously taking too much risk, I have done the same in the past and I put my hand up too it. You need to factor your risk appropriately if you want to survive.

If you are of a mind to take this long this is the last walk on GY for the retrace. If you are a gambler still, good rr for 138 140. Ey has tighter if you gamble.

As always this by itself means nothing at the moment.. but in the context of the controlling swing going long it is a good thought.

If i were just trading this tf ...obviously tracking looking for a quick easy long from here to set up.

Ouch checkz mate... you can't mess around with margin...i had times where my fib frame was excellent , but my margin wasn't... come to think of it... that only happened on gy since it whips around so much. she leaves a wide wake. The easiest trading just with a mix of liquidity and calmness is has and always will be EU for me... or EG...but EG is too slow

This was the one of the two i was looking at but i didnt get my entry(not validating the fib.. a momentum thing) cue/red line as it failed. You other chart is describing the bounce right now which i think alligns with the 38.2 and a 138.2 on the 1hr.. so there is that.

But this is a perfect Skunny fib...the 61.8 fitting has you taking it at the momentum break... I take it off of the candle that forms the 61.8 if it happens to look like this in the past....I suppose even with this you could have zoomed in to 15 and done it that way... but that wouldnt; have worked out.

EDIT: a lazy trader tip...that red line 137.04 is a bang up buy stop point. to 138.8 +

I did not see this till you pointed it out Eggster but I was waiting for a reversal bar to buy and place my trade. I spend hrs pulling fibs and when they don't work, I try to figure out why. So far my studies have me finding a "cycle" in progress on daily tf and then try to find 1 hr timeframe price action that fits. I'll eventually arrive.

I don't have fib charting on my phone but there are two look back61.8 that describe the down move on gu and eu perfectly as for gy ...I completely forgot about fomc chuckle I am sure it is there though. Onward and upward.

Hate to be the bearer of unfriendly tidings. I am no FibMaestro but I feel quite strongly that the current daily GY low will be taken out and that we are going below 134.90. But what do I know? I'm no FibMaster. Nor am I a Zen Master. Nor a Caddy Master. Nor a Jedi Master. Nor a Chess Master. I'm not even a Mixmaster.

So take my advice lightly. Or Strongly. Or not at all!!

What kind of fib was that you pulled? Im talking about the green fib. I don't think I have ever seen one pulled like that before. Care to explain what it was you did and why? Thanks alot!

Dude,
It's just a sequential pull down of the fib. If the current 138.2 gets broken, then the fib is pulled down so that the 61.8 is resting on the next lower swing high.

I think that's what MD and Bartstop are doing. But then again, who knows what those two are up to anyway ?
Sometimes I don't even know what my trigger happy fingers are doing.

So are leaving any Aud/usd pips on the table for us ?

Checkz, is it the fact that 61.8 is in the past (before the 100 anchor)?
