I would stick with trading with the daily trend. I noticed that the signals going against the trend aren't working out that great.

Yes, I have also seen that happening. I did not want to mention this because it is not part of the basic rules. But we are all free to employ our individual spinoffs.
i will rather follow a clear trend with the method.......not trading uscad. its not clear for me. the previous candle is too long...gbpchf forming signal with the trend...hope it will favour at the opening of tommorrow

I like simple systems the best, and I stumbled on this thread today. Here's an indicator that signals the candle that meets the criteria mentioned. The signal arrow is on the candle that completes the pattern, so the next candle after the arrow is the traded one. It can be used in any timeframe.

The parameters are:
pipspace = a number that determines how far away to paint the candle
usetrend = true; limits the signals to the ones in the prevailing trend, which is determined by:
longavg = the long ema
shortavg = the short ema

If you want to see all the signals, just set usetrend to false.

I also was uncertain about the trade for yours and other reasons, but took it anyway. It did touch the .0300 psyche mid-candle, and I should have been satisfied with that. Now I'll be happy with a BE.

gave a short signal on chf/jpy last night. i went short on chf/jpy. got out now at +30 pips. could have netted the 50 pips tp though.

I like your willingness to learn but it would be of great benefit for you to obtain basic forex knowledge by using the "search" section on the forex factory board while DEMO trading methods.Try to understand Forex basics and how or why a forex pair moves to one direction or another
i use weekly,even a times monthly chat to judge my fibo and locate the trend direction and also to see previous candle formation. with this, i can even leave my trades for days cos i dont have much time to sit on the computer.
usdjpy is now bullish. the method is cooooooooooolll. more piping a head

USDJPY long +20

for those who are in europe u can use oanda's feed as well (to place orders in the morning)

todays total pips= 144, usdjpy still running at a loss. dont care for now. will see how it will end

are you on live account now? trade with caution. tommorrow may be nice. gpbjpy is cool but too much volatility on the pair. missed chfjpy but its ok.
