Does anyone have copies of Electric Savant's original Cash & Carry thread(s) on Forex Factory? Looks like the guy suddenly disappeared and erased all of his posts here. Very frustrating. I was looking for info on both his Standard and Grid versions. One of the reasons I joined the PF was to get more info on these systems, but after a few weeks, ES just quit and left without any notice. Anyway, if anyone saved his thread(s) in a Word file or something, I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks so much.

for those of you in the pf please see the announcement i made concerning this in the general discussion thread under attention everyone. that announcement should explain and if not feel free to shoot me an email. as far as michael being gone from forex factory proper that was merlins decision and he can address this should he choose. thanks, jim

Actually, I'd like to qualify my comment. It is true that one of the main reasons I joined the PF was to learn more carry strategies from ES. Once I got there though, I found out that James16's price action concepts are really the good stuff. They truly work. Coupled with other analyses like trendlines and fib retracements, those bar formations that he teaches are second to none. His entries are so simple, yet so effective. Now if I could just figure out a good exit/profit strategy for my trades, I'll be set!

sometimes when its late and im tired and still going over charts and trying to decide what im going to do next a post like this comes up. its like a cup of coffee and it spurs me on. some people see the value of something sooner than others. the neat thing for those like d is youve just started down the road and it just gets better with time and practice. it was responses like this early on with the public james16 chart thread that started the ball rolling. the other neat thing for d and those like him is i have many more things i have never even touched upon or discussed anywhere on this forum still to come. thanks d, jim

I'm already preparing a feedback to the PF... Will send it to your e-mail..
but anyway, I just wanted to share..

Well, honestly, I haven't even read any portion in the PF except for Fijis..
I know there are a lot of good stuff in your sections, but you know, I still feel I have some psychological baggages to take care of that somehow hinders the confidence I need to have..

But anyway, currently, I'm trading local stocks for practice..
I'm still not trading forex coz basically, I'm still not prepared for it..
I know, that there are demos, but I'll get to it..

But anyway, enough of that blabber.. Just to make the long story short, because of the price action I read in yours posts, I exited the trade just in time for a retrace.. Whether it's luck or something, price action is price action.. there was a signal, I exited, I took profit..

Well, yeah yeah, it may not be a big thing for some since it's only one trade.. But you know, it's really different when you have something that works..
And with due practice and guidance, like you said, I can be good at it.

Anyway, I hope you've had enough coffee..

hello Rock, this was posted yesterday or the day before.

i posted a notice in the general discussion thread under attention everyone around two weeks ago. michael and i had a disagreement over how long he intended to stay here among other things and i was concerned about people getting involved and then him leaving suddenly. i just could not allow those that intended to follow his stuff continue to pay money while knowing that his stay would be short. that would have been against every thing i have tried to do here. i am sorry if this has caused any confusion for any of you but i felt it best to do the right thing. jim
