Got a card through the door today saying that my broadband provider is going to take advantage of the near by construction work by doing essential maintanance to fibre-optics and will disrupt connection between 8am and 5pm possibley till 29th (thursday).

Trade setting up on Aud/jpy M30 for sell.

Breif explanation. we had an intermediate uptrend where by we can clearly identify an uptrend with at least two HH and LH, price has dipped down to previous swing low, however not below it but in a rapid fashion, I'm now looking for price to retrace to just above 61.8% fib level to take short.

Entry for sell.

sell 79.07
stop 79.55
T/P 78.23

as can be seen blue lines on chart, lets see if order gets filled.

E/J, 12h00, close trade 114.32: Forex Ranger Signal changes from blue to green.
Total pips: 92.
Now G/U : floating +34 pips

Bluelines on chart indicate entry, stop and T/p not geat R/R but a touchbetter tha 1-1

Now: 92+28= 120 pips, for me fantastic for this choppy week.
Forex Ranger Signal is a lagging indicator, but in 4H TF seems to work very well.
Maybe at 12h00 a buy signal in EUR/USD.....

Anyway there doesn't seem much point in me taking part for one day, if the testers who did post..kdx, Tinorio, Caillou..can let me know what they thought of their systems i'd appreciate it and i'll send them some more to look into at their leisure. cheers

I have a few issues with my system, Firstly it takes a real long time for a trend/trade to develop, bcz what you are looking for is for the immediate trend to change direction, now anything under M30 most of the time are retracements, for an intermmediate trend to take place ideally you need to be looking at the 1h imeframe and above.

Apart from that I'm not totally sure I'm doing exactly as the strategy suggests as following Elliot Waves correctly is not an easy task, not that I would'nt like to trade Elliot Wave correctly, however my main point is there wa'nt enough information for me to say yes I totally understand this strategy as I mentioned in one of my posts That apart from a small 2 page word document and a short 10 min video thats all there was which I can also explain in a few mins. For me that does'nt consitute in having sufficient backbone for a trading strategy, off course I could be wrongjust my view.

Lastly I did't see much particpation in the room not sure why that was but thats life I guess.

Yes kraven maybe intestig to test the other systemsas in trading you never know something can always come along and just click whichis whyI was and still am happy in testing strategies.

In my opinion, Forex Ranger Slope and Forex Ranger Signal are good indicators in 4H TF, I´m going to test them a bit longer......

ok this post shows the BO boxes.
the 2 MA lines are there purely so i can go to the daily chart and see the overall trend (i feel happier trading with the med term trend)
the blue line is just a zigzag for high/lows.
the bar on the bottom is 'goldon harvest', ignore this i only put it on today to see if it would enforce entry signals

this is todays screen. i bought as it crossed the morning BO box, then moved SL to BE when it hit 25. I ended up out for BE

this is off my last trade from US Personal Spending m/m at 1:30. After the close of the 15min news candle i enter at the break. For me this is going the wrong ways, news was poor for the $. but i followed the market anyway.

this is basicaly what your looking for, 2 point trendline. the last 5 days gave a max of 66,40,135,47,95pips...so if you conservatively look for 40.

wait for 1 candle, not 2 too close above/below trend line

first charts yesterday. i'd have gotten in at 135.99. first peak hit +45 with a reversal part entry of -15pips, next peak hit +80 this is not uncommon

second pic is this morning, i personaly would have been tempted to enter at red line, just when pa moved past last candle high. this move got 30pips as you can see even after a heavy fall back the price returned. this again isn't uncommon for early times with this pair.
