S&P is looking short term bullish again and will probably trade back to 1100 this week. I would be in no hurry to short this at the moment. Wednesday will probably move back to test the 1073 area before moving higher.

AU has almost completed the move from green lows to green highs. Wednesdays highs at 8876 might provide a move back to the midpoints, but looking at the S&P which should continue up further I won't be shorting due to the strong correlation.

I have placed buy orders for the euro at 1.2824, daily lows matched with weekly pp. Price has a good chance of reaching here due to the daily open under the pp. Target is still 1.3062. Stops at the moment are 1.2800 but I will move them tighter if price gets there and I can see the most optimal place to put them.

Decided to close this trade at 1.5255, too much volatility for me, taking the money while there's still some left. +100 pips.

EU went straight through my order last night, -15 pips, it was only a half position size as I have little faith in these markets behaving as expected currently.

For Thursday I am looking at longs, for the aud 8752-55 is an area of interest for a long. On EU 1.2709-23 area. Just watching for now though.

To me things still look bullish for au, it needs a 4hr close below 8753 before I'll change my mind. Long from 8752. stop currently at 8745.

No got stopped for -7 but got back in again at 8752 and took profit at 8860. Price should continue up into 90 on Friday.

Also went long on eu at 1.2750, still holding this position. Price should also continue up for this pair today as well.

AU is showing signs that it is going to continue up for the next 2 weeks into the yellow highs in August, but at the moment I am just trading this pair day by day as it is in the back of my mind that the S&P is going to make a lower low soon which should take au with it.

For eu I would add to my longs at 1.2855, not sure if it will get there though. There is still a possibility that eu will reach 1.3062 by the end of the week. I would like to hold these longs into the yellow highs in August but will evaluate on a day by day basis.

I jumped the gun slightly and took longs on au at 8919. stops 8910 for now. Price should reach 8980 on Friday but I will probably hold these contracts till next weeks highs.

I'm still in this long for now, I moved the stop down to 8890.

Also added to eu longs a few hours back at 1.2887.

I do see some potential problems for longs though and that is caused by the position of the indicies. The S&P has completed the move from green lows to green highs and now with the daily close below 1091 suggests a move back to the midpoint next. This should put pressure on au.

I have decided to exit all my trades for the week. I think markets could go either way for the rest of Friday. EU +140 au +10 pips.
