someone in this forum which is the best PDA PHONE to work with mt4?

Any PDA with
As big size screen as possible(still remains pocketable pda)
(It also lot better visually and in browsing when one remotes mt4 running on VPS on his/her PDA)
+Good battery
+ Wifi/3G(better if has; Connectivity is important when money is at stake)
+ Latest windows OS (better IMO)

I have been using mt4 on my HTC TYTN 2 aka HTC KAISER aka MDA Vario 3 aka AT&T Tilt..etc etc from last 1 yr. No issues with tracking trades ..
In fact even traded some trades in slow markets.

Nice to know one option is available now for iphone!
Though people may mind sharing login and info with a third party application.
(generating revenue through ads..free version)
Further i don't see any indicators (All inbuilt indi's; as in Mt4 Mobile) on this platform(i may be wrong)

forex on the go aint any thing special. premium version and lite version are exactly the same basically. only difference is on premium u can execute trades..

well you still have to pay 30 bucks a month or something to be able to sign in to your brokers server and that is a joke. who would possibly spend 30 bucks a month on some poxy iphone trading app that isnt even that good. Id rather just pay $15 a month for a 3g broadband stick to plug in my laptop.

I find the charts hard to view, there are no technical analysis indicators just plain price and you cant even adjust chart colors . it is EXTREMELY basic.

some brokers like fxcm have their own iphone app and fx pro will be releasing theres soon. it will sure be better than this forex on the go app. anything could b better than it

I still think something better could be developed for the iphone. I mean it is EXTREMELY popular and only going to continue to be. I hate how everything is only developed for gay microsoft.

as for smartphones well i rekin HTC are probably the best. I havnt owned one before but was going to get one prior to my iphone purchase. But you cant customize a htc to the extent that you can jailbreak an apple and have all sorts of fun HTC touch diamond 2 is probably good value for money.

but running mt4 mobile on a htc would be as good as you could get for mobile trading in my opinion.
no wait ill rephrase that. As good as you will get for "checking" trades. You cant do any analysis on a phone you will need a laptop to make informed decisions in my experience.

im looking to buy this HTC HD2 but im not sure it can use metratrader via alpari mobile..any1 know one way or the other?

i really need to monitor my trades at vital support resistance..any help apprecaited..thanks in advance guys

It has a windows mobile operating system so I should imagine it will be fine. I used to have a HTC TYTN II and that worked fine with Activtrades so I can't see Alpari being any different.

Trading from phone will depend upon what type of trading strategy one is following!
There are many here at FF itself which just need to watch previous candle closes and stuff.. ! All simple Candle/Bar price action stuff +/- basic indicators can be done on Mt4 mobile itself , as so are the trades (if it requires only the former).
Higher TF(H1 or so or even M5 traders) following simple strategies & requiring no complex/cutom indi's can easily trade over it itself.

works great on t mobile wing. which is running windows mobile. i assume any htc running windows mobile can run mt4 mobile.




edit; shift key doesn't work on this computer.

PDAs are a thing of the past. The devices you guys are talking about are called Smartphones, not PDAs.

So if you're having problems with your landline or wireless broadband connection while using your laptops or workstation, all you need to do is enable the router on the hd2 and connect your laptops/workstation via the hd2. Comes in very handy to people like myself, because in our country the, the providers have ridiculously high rate of downtime, so emergency features like this is a must.

WOW that great ..i didnt realise u actually have the phone, never noticed b4..i remember u posting picture of this b4..i take it it working well with metatrader, the screen size it bigger than iphone..that would help greatly

Wormboy, what do you think about the HD2 in general? Is it a good phone? I heard it has software glitches. Do you have dropped calls or stuff like that? I've tried the FXCM mobile application in a Windows Mobile emulator, but it freezes quickly. Are you having problems with it on the real thing?

I'm also planning on getting a HD2 for monitoring my trades but I don't want to be frustrated because it doesn't work as a phone first

For the past 2 years Ive been using the HTC TyTn II (AT&T Tilt). But AT&T's service has gone to hell lately and I so I fired them. I went with Verizon (yup, I liked the maps) and got a droid and an htc Imagio.

The imagio is used for trading/work since it has the windows mobile os. mt4 from ikon is sharp and crisp and I get a good signal even in a building in the middle of nowhere. So glad that I can trade in class again. It does differ in the there is no physical keyboard like my previous HTC which kinda bums me out but I am quickly learning how the touchscreen keyboard works. And now the 2 phones together take up as much space as the old tilt did.

The droid on the other hand was bought just because it was cool and I wanted it. I have yet to find any useful forex apps in the market place. There is one that is free and says it will hook into mt4 at home but you have to register and pay like $10 a month for the website. I do like some of the more oddball apps like the ak47, beer pong, maps, star finder, and barcode scanner. Anyone know of some other cool droid stuff? or even windows mobile stuff?

hey i also have HTC HD2 but can not log in to mt4 from alpari,on the pc is ok, mt4 from fxpro works ok,any solutions
