Looks like we're getting a nice pullback on GU. The white 50 is also the blue 38. Fingers crossed. Leverage ready.

Even though the white 50 failed to reject price, it still reacted to it. Look at the way the candle got boxed in. Interesting.

Sorry I didn't get back to you MrD, I was up at a cottage for the super long (5 day)weekend , no internet.

Barstop, be aware of the larger fibs, yes we can fib any swing, but the bigger fibs "Rule"

The gu fib this morning was a double top test from the 4H fib.
Closed lower ...down we go, how far ?? we will soon have targets.

I am short off a similar move on EU.

2nd pic... what about this fib? I didn't notice it pictured.

Sorry I must off missed that one, had quite a few pages to catch up on.

Here is my take on your short black fib.

With my red fib, a few targets.

I traded short yesterday one the same move on euro.

Pivot points are very important, like a launching pad to target.

Bartstop put his fib there which gave us a completion. I would have done the same a few days back but I changed my method slightly due to something Thom said to me, not wishing to bad mouth Thom of course. I'll find the post, maybe I misinterpereted what he said. I take have a couple of short winners on the way down on that cable fib and I thought we must be in a long fib hence my red one but I didn't trade it due to indecision. Nevermind.

I'll find that post.

See my post 994, I was trying to track GY. Read Thom's comment in is reply just after re price not piercing off the 61.8. That's stopped me putting my fib where you did for that completed cable move. We all do things differently or I have it arse about face. In any event I am winning more than I'm losing so thats 1 good thing.

Thom, no offence, I may have mis-read you or Eggster does things slightly differently

You are right about the red fib, sorry to confuse.

I was just trying to show what I am looking at, if the blue fib is pierced beyond the red trigger then I will be looking for the red target.

But, it is not yet activated... sorry to add confusion.

Why did you fib that downswing? I could not find a completed upswing on any timeframe. Do you fib any swing in general regardless?

The high on May 21 also falls on an daily 100 I am watching. (maybe years out)
but just the high should be reason for concern.

And I find pivots very important, therefore always fibbing with them in mind.

pivots in, pivots out, then pivots back in, then up and back to confirm on the 50,then up and back to confirm on the 38

(pivot in,out = close open on the 61.8)

6 direct hits over 24 hours is enough for me

This is another easier reason to be looking for a bounce,

Barstop quote "Are we not looking backwards (previous swing) anymore ?

Just so happened they both lined up!

No not tradefibs at all, just 7000 hours screen time, it is amazing what you see.

I don't want to sound like I'm discrediting Thom in any way, he's helped us so much I can't even begin to tell him how much his posts are appreciated. On the other hand, I think a slightly different perspective and some new ideas will really help us along. Anything you want to post, feel free. If we don't respond, it's not because we're ignoring you. There's a lot of discussion going on behind the scenes. Yours and Thoms posts get studied and dicussed more than you realise. So, with that being said, if you want to post your charts/trades along with your thought process, feel free. We're eager to learn.

Eggster, your input is invaluable and points out to us listeners there is more than one way to skin a cat. I have been following Thom who is kind enough to devote his time to show us his way. I think I'm nearly there! His is very 61.8 driven with a pierce thrown in for a trigger. There are the occasional swing fibs to that find their way onto my charts.

Yours is a horse of a different colour which those following this thread must realise and not confuse with other styles. I can see how your fibs line up with respect from all angles, past an present. I don't understand how you trade in and out of them yet but I'm sure it is very effective. I'm not asking you to just tell us, I appreciate the hours you have put in. Although I think Bartstop, Skong and I must have been looking at this stuff for 9 months now. We have jumped around a bit but we are at the point of filling in the cracks. I for one have had to change my whole perspective on how I trade, some of this stuff is hard to swallow.

I often wonder if I'm borderline insane......like BarTstop.
