On October 2007, I posted a thread on crash of GBPJPY based on head and shoulders and after some weeks, the GBPJPY fell more than 5000 points and we saw massive crash on dow and all currencies.

People were earlier skeptical about H&S pattern, but after seeing the results live, we know H&S is 90% accurate and on monthly and weekly charts its 100% accurate.
I'm posting this pattern not to tell you to make money, 'cos i can guarantee you that you will make money in...
people are saying that the recent up move cancelled the reverse head and shoulder formation, what do you think about that ?
Meanwhile, the ecri's WLI has just broken below the -10 level, which always has meant that a recession was underway in the past (the attached chart doesn't have the latest data point).
But let's not forget that we are in a credit based economy and that business cycles are created by the PTB, which mean that we have to watch what the Fed is doing. As most of us already now, the Fed create recessions by moving its prime rate above a certain neutrality level. Most of the time, this level is equal to the 10 years gov. bond rate but the formula is a little more complicated. This relationship hold true in most of the US recessions in the last 100 years and the fed did exactly that right before the 1929 depression. The data exists, you just have to want to check it out. That relationship also exists in most credit based economies but the US are the dominant players and the ones who should be watched.
What I am saying is certainly not far fetched. Just look at what Trichet did in 2007 (or 2008) when he raised the ECB's rate to insure that a recession would happen. They do it because it's a vital function of our economies (it cleans out the mess) and because it gives them a great advantage over normal people/businesses. And just look at the unemployment charts or most of the economic activity charts : they go down neatly then up even more neatly because it's a managed cycle and not a natural phenomenon that would be more chaotic.
If you think there's is going to be a recession anytime soon, it would mean that the fed would have lost control of the economy. Can it happen ? Yes, just look at Japan who has been lost into deflation for the past 20 years while the yield curve indicator worked very nicely before that. It seems like a 0 bound prime rate takes away the central banks power. I think it might happen to us but I'm not convinced we are there yet. If that was the case, economic cycles wouldn't really exist anymore : we would be, a la Japan, either in a "going nowhere" mode or in a recession mode. No more growth.

I agree, this system of planet raping for profit has a few hundred years at least left in it. Our kids will live to see the DOW at 50,000 because we are ruled by nothing more than a well oiled profit making machine and it aint stopping anytime soon, its just too good at what it does. Meanwhile people will predict the end of the world every decade or so just like they always have
I think your call is crap, but on it's own I probably wouldn't have even responded. The market will teach that lesson in due time. What sets me off is conspiracy theories. If you have read any of my posts you know I ferociously attack all of them. Don't take it personally.

I will prove to you that your theories are full of crap LIVE...yeah that's a promise....wanna bet now...you said Head and Shoulders has not formed yet and market wont crash...take a look at the news headlines and take a look at DOW monthly charts now. right shoulder is now slowly forming ...its only a matter of weeks , when we see the neck line break and markets go in for a freefall.Don't take it personally, but you have no idea what is going on...only conspiracy theory is the truth rest all is fake...i believe it and that why i been right this time also...I have predicted it well in advance for the second time in a row now.
