DislikedWill sending a trading robot to sleep for 5 minutes after sending a trade will give the platform time to catch up with events, after which all open trades will be available to the robot to view?

DislikedVery likely---the delay is probably only a few seconds----usually (but who knows). But I believe in solving the problem correctly---essential for live trading. I haven't seen the ticket method fail. And sleeping a long time could hurt other things.Ignored
DislikedI have hit a brick wall here. The 85/15 lines in the indi window are Stochastic lines. I have no idea how to code a recognition that macd has passed these levels. Visually it is easy; in code is a different matter.QuoteDislikedSecondly, the NanningBob upgrades sound great. I have read through his PDF but you gave a very good refresher. I think he is trading on the D1, so presumably we will have to adapt the Sixths method for the lower time frames with different settings, as MacMan's modded indicator allows.
Any ideas, coders?

DislikedSo the macd position relative to the stochs in the same window is an illusion and is misleading...
We need clarifications from Nanningbob i think.
Or perhaps I need clarifications on the method ?...

DislikedOk, here is the StochasticMACD indi that i coded.
It is the stochastic of the MACD Signal line (not the Main MACD).
Load it on top of the stochs+macd window of the Nanningbob template and see how it compares with the red MACD Signal line.
It draws an Orange line that is bound to the 0..100 range, so we can now directly compare it with the white and blue stochastics lines, and the 85/15 levels.
I have set the "StochasticPeriod" to 120 bars, which is the number of H4 bars for 4 weeks -- that's the setup Nanningbob talks about in his doc.
