Not trying to brag or anything, but I just upgraded to this rig a few weeks ago. Here's a shot of me working out a seriously complex algorithm model on it.

I cannot see the whole setup, there's a halfnaked man blocking my view !

Main trading box is a custom built;Asus p6x58d mobo, core i7 quad 2.8ghz, 6 gig triple ch 1600mhz ram, twin gtx 250 cards, raptor 10k drives in raid0, 4 x Asus 24' screens. This computer runs the platform very easily.
Secondary box; old p4 3.6ghz. Runs my Risk management spreadsheets and probability database.

Are all these screens to impress your friends. 
People seem pretty underwhelmed when I show them my trading... a professional is supposed to have multiple monitors, right?

Its all personal preference......I know a guy who makes roughly 20-30k per mo using a laptop......I know another guy who lost close to 95k in the past 3 months who uses an 8 monitor setup.......tools are only as good as the trader using them
