TEB, this is very interresting for us how you determine the long, mid, short term trend - which TF you see, price formations (candles, patterns), EMAs 5,12, RSI20 ?

Hello everyone

I'm new here. Just finished reading the entire thread. Its nice to have finished a thread and its still active. Feel like I know everyone already. I have 3 years of demo and learning, 1 year of actual live trading. I found the holy grail 6 times and, well, none of them worked out. Anyway, in the last year, I have employed a standard 3/6/9 EMA and traded based on when the pair went into trend. I've always used the bollinger bands to help with entry and exit. I've decided to shake it up and trade based on TEB's rules. Placed 2 trades last night on the USD/JPY

1. Went in at 9:20 pm est. at 88.43, out at 88.30 for 10 pips
2. Went in at 9:50 pm est. at 88.31, out at 88.18 for 10 more

Thanks Teb, gonna give this a solid try.

BTW, does anyone employ the use of Bollinger Bands? I find them extremely helpful

I don't read candles very well, will work on that
