Pattern failed anyway, but major trend I think is rather neutral. MACD registers Weekly in a buy and Monthly kind of riding the line verging on sell. Interim is still a bull. All of this down right now could be normal correction from the interim move. Lots of places to stop before 4700's. Right now to me H4 is top heavy and guiding price down.

i can agree with this yes, i thought would go a little higher into the 153-- area, also very true no retractments so might be time for one, we are seeing right now a big move to the downside so might be it although still in the channel

Frankly I am not that bullish becoz we have gone up quite a distance without any serious retracements. For me to buy into this, this has breakout of the supply zone which ends at 5120s. If it takes out, then play along with the trend.

Calling a top here is risky, but there are enough indications that we may be turinng around. Lots of divergences on hourly charts, rising wedge like formations, compact trading ranges.

I would like to see 48s or some resolution on bearish signals to go ahead.

On a min chart, cable looking like a HS. This if it works should take it below the neck of the larger HS, triggering a downside. Just a possibility, it needs lots of confirmation to trade this setup.

Okie, time to continue my 1 cents worth of view. The sell trade of GU at 1.5100 that I did on yesterday night had managed to move to 1.4940 a while ago. A good profit of 160 pips since yesterday till now. I'm out already since the profit is good. Anyway, I'm still of the view that GU will continue its bearish move but should be getting limited. Rationale being that H4 TF have not reach the bottom of a 4hr uptrend channel (still have room for downward move before coming up), H1 and M15 MACD has become much more bearish as compared to this afternoon. The only thing that I'm seeing a chance of uptrend continuation is a bullish divergence on M5. Nonetheless, this does not means that the bearish retracement is consider complete. I'm still believed in the 1.4870 region.

The key reason as to why I had exited my sell trade is that they are high impact news for GU tomorrow and I'm always out when news is near.
Will keep the profit for another better trade.

Happy that my contrarion trades has done well since 2 day ago. A good profit of around 210 pips for 2 trades in 2 days.

Well for me I focus on one time frame 1hr and one currency GU -- no flipping chart . I have my rules and stick with them. Stick to your rules you will be a better trader. (you will not win all )

Hi Zamanib, thanks for the advice. I totally agreed with you on sticking to the rules and I do follow them strictly. I have strict rules for entry and SL but my TP rules are more versatile. The TP rules does change accordingly to time and how market unfold. Certain times do call for some changes in TP setting and I usually adjust the TP, especially when FA gets a bit out of hand. I'm more of a TA guy supplemented with FA.

Its good to trade on single TF chart (being systematic) but I find that it is equally important to be able to analysis all the various TF chart and come to a good entry conclusion before starting to trade on the preferred single TF chart. Although tedious and tiring but it pays off when most of your trades achieves high satisfaction from good entry/SL/TP points and best of all, good profits.

Lastly, I totally agree that we will not win all. More importantly, we need to be consistently profitable. Let's master the art of "minimising risk and maximising profit" and we will be a successful trader

MY plan : Wait for the 2am NY candle to close -- Then see where price is respect to the 14971 (high) 14950 also ( the last high) and the 14911 (low)
My target has to do with the daily range last few days we see range from 94 111 160 hope to see a 200 pips range in the next few days
