Well thought I would give the indi a try and shorted E/U after a lower high. Since it was slow asia I took a +10 profit.

If you mean these 2.

The red line on left is after a 1hr shooting star, a 15 min neg close on its low then a doji. So no its not a '100% system' trade and not at an extreme so doesn't qualify there either.

The red line on right is a hl from a key level but it follows a 1hr shooting star and a 15 min neg close. It worked but not a system trade.

With any system you tend to remember the trades that bent the rules and worked and not remember all those that failed.

Thanks for the explanation. The first candle I meant was 4 candles to the left. In the upper half of the shooting star while it was forming.

Candle 4 to left definitely not as 1hr and 15 min candles going against.

1st trade of day push up to 5100 where price had stalled previously, 5 min inside candle, 1 min lh see trade 3 1st post. +18 out.

2nd trade of day, 5 min chart nice lh. Tried to exit at +20 just before the news and it was jumpy and couldn't exit. Then news took us up to exit at BE.

Hi V watched both your trades go couldn't click the button for some reason having a nervous day! just did this one out +2 when it pulled back up through yesterdays low didn't want to take a loss on it really. bearish 15min and hourly.

sorry to bother again. The bearish 15M candle before 16:40 setup - did you consider this a pullback in the bullish 1h, that was forming?

We had 3 BE buys where we looked for the 5065 level to break. As a result we got scared off the trade. We were trying to buy into what proved to be a tough area with lots of 1hr upper wicks which is why the upper line in the indi window was solid red (when we were trying to buy).

When the 100% system trade eventually comes (including my often discussed small bounce from key area, 5075 in this case) we had long since lost belief in this move.

For the record 100% system trade right on that tough...

you should have sold the break of the low of bar4 to the left as at the time of break it was a failed second entry

faded the bullish IB before your setup candle (entry was at 5060)

had another trade - setup candle was 11:40 (not exactely LH - but stop run for the 10:45 traders)

lets see, if we can take out 5061

if we stay below this could be a double top bear flag

1st entry LONG would be the PA at the low
2nd entry LONG is the first HL

the bullish candle at 8:50 trapped a lot of buyers - I bet (stops go below that)
You enter short, when they're stopped

I still don't understand becasue I was doing a short not a long and are you saying my short wasn't according to the system or the two long entrys you show above? I am pretty sure my enrty was a system trade.

The hourly close looked indecisive but the 15min was showing short so I went with the direction of the 15min.

sorry for the confusion.

not according to Vantage's system was only meant for this part of the message: 1st entry LONG would be the PA at the low / 2nd entry LONG is the first HL (8:50 candle)

your entry was good - but I would have entered SHORT, when the low of the 8:50 candle broke (4 pips higher)
this was at 9:05 (this bar too had a nice bearish momentum)

you increase the success rate of your trades a lot, if you enter at places, where other traders are forced to give up their positions

Not in the bullish 1 hr forming but simply the 15.00 1 hr was a positive close, there was a small 15 min neg close but the 5 min hl took out the top of the 15 min neg close = system buy.
