DislikedHey there Jason Ive been following this trend because a friend of mine recommended me to go with fxcm, but right now am testing the MTS2 and well i posted an order here with tp on 5 pips as you can see in the pic, of course when i put the order the first line draws at the price where your trade will be at...Ignored
Dislikedhmm...and that polling was before they raised the spread to become the highest of them all, I think that poll is outdated.Ignored
Dislikedlarge spread, and your chart is a bid chart, click on A to make it an Ask chart if you are short the pair, cause you will have to buy at Ask not Bid...a 4 pip spread will kill you in scalping unless you are the best scalper that ever livedIgnored
Dislikeddoes not surprise me. We have had this advisory outstanding regarding FXCM issues open since February 23, 2010. Issues were noticed before then.Ignored

DislikedJason,
i have question regarding the FXCM MT4 platform, dose it use the same price feed as in TS2 or is it a different feed?
are prices on both platforms identical through all market conditions?
many thanks indeed,
MaliIgnored
DislikedHi Mali,
The spread on the MT4 accounts have a 1/10th of a pip mark-up compared to the FX Trading Station II. Other than that the price feeds are the same.
A benefit of the new Strategy Trader platform is that there will be no 1/10th pip mark-up like on our MT4 offering.

DislikedFrom linked post "Uses C# for coding, easy to hookup and debug in visual studio"
Why would a trader have to debug the software? you should beta test it before it making public to get rid of the bugs yourself.
Also, what is the programming language that the client can use to program EAs or Stratey Testers as you call them , or will client side EAs would not be possible to program?Ignored
DislikedHi wwwin,
The debugging feature is for traders to debug their strategy code so they fix any errors with their coding.
The platform is currently going through beta testing before public release. Here's where you can sign up to join the beta group http://www.fxcm.com/lp-strategy-trader-beta.html . All feedback about platform bugs are welcome and greatly appreciated. The platform is tentatively scheduled for release within the next two months. DislikedOK, got it, thanks, so the Strategy Advisors are also programmed in C#.Ignored
