Yeah - of course you are right.
That's one of the very basic differences between your teachings and many other (and mostly in the long run not successful) trading strategies:
To stay nimble and listen to the markets only.
No predictions.
No Crystal balling.

BTW: Thinking about switching my trading accounts base currency from EUR into USD ;-)

I live in the Euro zone - sort of, as DDK is quite pegged to € - but keeping some assets in HKD (pegged to USD), have no idea how China loosening the yuan will affect HKD.

why worry, HKD is fiat currency also.

edit: no, not yuan, but am speculating whether HK govt at some point will realign, since they depend more on China economy than USA trade, me think, but honestly I have no idea - never a money person

I must say that when I have been very sure that PA will, move in a certain direction it usually went against me. I've learned my lesson about that. Market makers puts traps for people with huge ego, and they always fall in the trap by going gunz blazing. There are also traps in the charts for the people full of fear. If we learn not to fall in these traps, then we can even learn to go with the Market when it puts the traps.
