What a howler. That said, that is the most chances I have seen an England team create in a long time. Impressed with Gerard, Heskey, even Green had a great second half performance. And Barry is yet to come back and he's hugely important to us

The nation is fickle so they will panic and say this is a huge disaster. I am not so sure. I suspect we'll still top the group and the americans will come second but it'll be a squeaker.

The one thing that I kept thinking was how they would do against a Holland, Argentina, Brazil, or Germany. I think England will still go through, but if they finish second, I believe that sets up a potential match with Germany.

I think England is going to be disappointed again.

I like that chart, but I would wait for a break of that daily trend line you have there. Play it kind of sloppily....

Watch the AUD this week.....there are a lot of people claiming that is is in a "W" pattern on the daily, but I have .8550 as a S/R area. Also, take a look at gold - it's showing potential weakness.

I don't think that I personally would classify the pattern on the AUDUSD daily as a 'W' but it is definitely getting little range bound.

I have been waiting for another opportunity to go short.

I think we may also get an opportunity on the AUDCAD. The question is which is more likely to be the better opportunity.

I am not very familiar with the CAD movements. Any thoughts on this?

The past couple days of the trading week the markets have been bullish. I was bearish but then started to look at news of how the markets are about to start a new uptrend. I began to become bullish but just looked over my charts and realized that some of the charts never broke resistance and if they did it wasn't convincing. From this point on I will take the news with a grain of salt and follow my charts. Sites were saying aud is about to break resistance and then it will say gold is coming down for a breather...lol.

I'm going to venture an answer to these questions, based on my own trading style and what I have learned here.

Chris, please feel free to correct me if I am way off base.

1. It depends on what the charts tell me to do.

What I am really trying to say is that there is no way to answer these questions with any certainty.

This method of trading is more about waiting for the charts to give a clear indication of the best course of action than trying to predict what the market will do.

Here are a couple of more elaborate answers to the same questions.

1. No I am not sure. While the chart is indicating a down trend I will be looking for a clear signal to short at an important SR or PPZ.

In the meantime if the chart gives me a very clear A+ CT signal, and the RR is good with a clear target I may go long.

If the chart tells me that the trend has changed I will be looking for a long entry signal at an important SR or PPZ.

2. One of the basic rules of this method is to follow the trend. I will continue to look for short opportunities no matter how high the price goes, unless I see a very clear indication that the trend has changed. Then I will look for long entry signals and short opportunities that follow my CT trading rules.
