Went for the S&P but had my stop 2 points higher @ 1089 --> did hold.
Closed this position around BE when we came back down.

Now holding a last one from 1085.
Those 4 last H1 candles look like "undecided" to me.
Or some special chart-pattern that I don't know yet

I took profit on half at daily pivot, and the other half stopped out at B/E

Here are my charts for the USDYEN.
All is pretty explanatory...

One thing to bear in mind is that BOJ intervenes very often and will attatch a document to my next post..so please beware of the sudden moves while trading this pair..

I just thought I should share, ahead of the weekend, a profitable pattern, useful for day-trading, in the Euro - that of Fibonacci retracements of waves before continuation.

Worked wonders on the second leg of your trade as well, from 1.2126 to 1.2045, and as you can see also several times yesterday.

HI shahab and Geppyg,
Another great week. Great thread, thank you for all your help.
I closed my 2 x EU shorts with you and took profit running the third one over the week end. Same with AUD, closed 2 lots and keeping third. Closed all GBP with 110 pips. Should have known that big boys wouldnt let a low close of the week to happen for the DOW. STill hoilding 2 lots average of 10152. only trade of the week that is bleeding now.

Thanks, GeppyG. I'm with you there. The shape of the fifth wave. and the sizeable leveraged short positions in the Euro (which means the same thing as the chart) could mean a violent correction, so while 1.2660 and 1.3110 may be reasonable targets, the Euro may (may, not will) shoot up a good bit further than that. Another interesting week ahead, at the end of which targets for the correction could be more accurately assessed.

Hi,

All something about this break out on the dollar does not make sense..I cant quite tell what is not right...but after looking at charts just as I said before pay very close attention to the triangle..cos that is the story teller...selling and buying on utl or Ltl with short stop could be give us some serious pips..

Now is where you have to get things perfectly right as well or you could loose some serious pips...

Bullish continuation into the next week for the euro, cable and Aussie..
