UKDayTrader, Good to have you back in the midst. I have to say - everyone has been tripping over themselves about longs on this beast, so I'm feeling OK about my short strategy. We just dumped down to 133 & falling. US retails sales absolutely abysmal, along with bad UK news. Here we come back down to earth, to 130 and less. Pound weakness is back in play, I will assume in a big way.

Looking for support from 131.7 to 132 with this news but I am still bullish for next week...This is a news spike and once the market looks into the numbers further then we should see a spike back up. looking for a close above 135 to validate this bull run by Tuesday...

132.77 is a good place to go long. It's the 50% of the move from 130.40. I see this as a typical 50% retracement if 132.77 holds. We'll resume the uptrend towards 136 and 137.50 and higher in the coming weeks.

The yellow trendline is the key area I'm looking at. A daily close below 132 would put GJ in an extremely bearish mode with bear in complete control as a daily close below this level will have broken many strong supports such as the daily gann and the 4H gann. Otherwise, as long as this trendline holds, we can expect a bounce back up to the 4H 200ema once again.

As you can see, the previous bounce from this trendline is very strong, from 130.40 to 135.15. Another test of this trendline and I would expect another strong bounce up to at least 136.

Looks like the weekly chart is turning into a bear flag. Oh joy.

So I suppose sentiment should be neutral, trades that make most sense are shorts from the top of the flag for less than 100 pips.

be careful..

specially if we close above 134.90 today.. that would move and shift the whole weekly chart.. with placed low at 130.40

when that's happen, the 144.90 is the target to test.. can we do it or not.. is up to the market, but not our Bids.. and levels..
