Hi, Zapmx, thanks for the link and explanation of how to install those two indicators. However... I couldn't get them work on my platforms. I unzipped the folders and put them into respective folders in my MT4 account, but then when I tried dragging the indicators to charts nothing happened.

I recently bought a new PC with very fiddly Windows 7 that seems to come with many new features/restrictions. For example, I can't simply unzipp the file in my MT4 folder, and each platform can be opened in two different ways (one normal with all the things that I put on, the other one 'run as administrator' that will open with only basic charts). Don't know if this is relevant to my problem. But even I manually put those things in, it still didn't work....

because if you dont have data how the indis will plot something? i guess thats your missing. how to fix it? well...
i forget to say i have downloaded too the 3 parts of swiss ephemeris (they are in the same russian forum, below the first post) then i made a dir in my disk C: named sweph and copied the unzipped files there.
the files are named some as seas_18.se1 , semo_18.se1 etc (7 files )
i think its important, sorry because i forget to mention it.

i believe thats the way your include files of your mt4 can import the data to display in the charts when you are using the indis in your terminal.

That's one reason why I abandoned any effort to draw the square in mt4 platform, is a disaster.

i was using gunner but its just overlayed in the screen, its just visual and it doesnt has accuracy as psv told me.

is best to find another platform to get it as JR suggests too.

I have Gunner24 too, how do you plot the square on MT4? I found it not accurate each time, shifting the view. Any platform suitable for that? Any suggestion for Gunner24 to plot/overlay more accurately?

Yep, sometimes you can be right, sometimes wrong.
I find that the difficulty with Elliott wave is the timing aspect, the difficulty with cycle trading is the direction, but together they can work great.
I am still playing around with this to try and find a trading method that works. Following could be a nice setup, and coming to you in a couple of hours.

This is a chart of the Dow, prices should not exceed 10057 before they break the swing low of 9866. At 13:00 GMT there is a mercury-jupiter sextile, that may trigger the prices going down. So there is where I enter the trade short against the 10057 high, target 9700. If you miss the trade 9940 is a saturn support line, wait for that to break and go short against 9940.

this Mars, jup & uranus tangling with aries hmmm. i am literally seeing stars instead of mkt direction . there must be a way to contain this freak out

Well, that worked, just not the way I anticipated.
At 13:00 gmt price went up because the aspect causes a counter-trend action and prices were going down at the time of the aspect, so price went up.
I did not enter the trade but price did bounce off 9950 exactly where saturn support is. Now seeing if the trendline resistance will hold and probably 61.8% fibonacci resistance.

i see heh good timing but bad direction
i agree, i have seen this too, its often when we are trading just the planet cycles.

right the time but where? up or down?

almost like to flip a coin... we need more accurate data to proceed or something near to forecasting direction... as you say: something like elliot waves.

i am afraid than not.
square is difficult to plot in mt4 and gunner its not enough accurate anyway.
i am not thinking more by the moment in the squares as i cant plot it in none of my terminals.

All is true. I basically prefer the theory of Waves of Eliot. Planetary cycles serve one of factors of acknowledgement/refutation of developing movement.
It is assured, that all movements nachinajutsja/are defined from small time intervals (5 minutes for example).Аcknowledgement/refutation a direction of movement better on H1 or H4 (piping ) and is the most correct in a similar case Planetary Cycles help. All of us live on one planet, under one sun, in one solar system and are rather subject to influence of our star. And theses about the person as about "a creation wreath" only usual arrogance ().

Yeah, I noticed, short term planetary trading doesn't work that well with EW. Better to focus on the longer cycles.

Hi, Zapmx. Thanks for your patience in explaining. I tried that, and still, the indicator can't be dragged/attached to charts.... I guess at the moment I will have to give this set of indicators a miss. But surely thanks for your help.

I just read the beginning of this thread this weekend. What happened to James Hong? He has not posted since February...

Hi Traders,

Posting a study here of Uranus and Saturn retrograde periods.
The red vertical lines are Uranus retro/direct lines and the yellow are Saturn retro/direct lines.
The horizontal white dotted lines are 480 pips intervals of Saturn support/resistance.
The bottom indicator is showing mercury and venus declanation. Mercury is the red/blue line and Venus is the thinner purple line.

It looks like the Uranus retrograde period coming 7/7 will coincide with mercury and venus declination periods. However saturn will go opposite.
I know that the inverse period of venus follows eurusd price, here venus is not inverted, so it could mean we are headed up until at least 7/7.
Or does it?
Anybody wants to weigh in?

your count of waves daily is the same like the engine i have installed now (screen below) in my PC to help me to follow well the count of waves.

In the planetary side i am posting a neuro net forecast, TF 4H (green line, oscilator is the other purple line) and the blue box is the expected movement of the green line forecast.

Blindy weekend masked the last down move predicted for the neuro net and we are almost to enter to the upside influence. I think it will be tomorrow.

To get the full big picture mr merriman newsletter agree with the inminent bullish signals ahead.

Crude Oil may have also found a bottom last Monday, just one day before the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, around 69.50. why you dont try all the stuff again since the begining? i mean installing all the indis and ephemeris; use the files of the russian forum because they are complete and they were posted by the code author. Dont install these planet lines indi posted here because its not complete.

and btw we dont know what happened to James, he just stop his post in the thread.
