if we don't break DPP 133.7 or get a 4H close above the 50ema then will close my long and keep the pips. if it does break, 134.5 is next target area upside.

feeling tenuous about the upmove so far, so watching closely. lol

Closed my long earlier. Would rather trade with clarity than sit here guessing. Waiting on NYSE open.

I think a lot of people want to see if equities will continue to slide today. If so then we'll probably see more dollar strength. If they rebound, then we should continue heading north.

Considering the US Index Futures rebounded I'd be very careful shorting atm.


edit: Testing DPP. May get our answer soon

Hi guys

There is potential reversal on the H1 once the divergence kicks in & once price clears 4490 level to start building long positions again. Interesting enough yesterday's dip wasn't enough to take out the w1 fib level & an ascending ltl from 20th May low.
I will not be looking to short from this level, unless the two mentioned confluence levels are taken out. There is a good chance of getting whipsawed out of positions trying to short from here imho.

Let's see how it goes.

In your opinion which tool is better to use on the HTF to look for divergencies? I saw u use MACD, but maybe u have any other suggestion? In case... which values u have on yours? i have (12,26,9)

yo dario!

macd is pretty responsive. Yup & I have the same period as yours.
I also use the rsi, but on a much higher tf, the D1 & the W1.
You can try both & see if you can get a good understanding between the 2.

there's the 487/90 breakout. Long position confirmed. Let's see if price can manage to stay above this level after the retest.

Okay. price had succesfully stayed above previous supp/res level after retest, so naturally we're looking for a higher level test later if possible. No shorts for me unless price closes below dp. Next levels I have are 4536 & 4624.
Time to manage the trades. Catch you guys later.
