The euro and the gbp have opened with some impressive gapping south (guess bad news is going to be hard to overcome). Pretty easy to trend these things! I will move my trading up to Tokyo this evening and see what develops (would not be surprised to see a snap back north on these two, but time will tell).

Leon, time to open a demo account and trade what you think you are learning, then get back with questions. It may sound silly, but if you really read the first 200 pages, the answers to your questions are there. You just need to practice and test as you study those pages again. In reality, the actual answers are statistically significant, and it's up to you to figure our how and when that works. In addition, you ego is going to kill you if you do not settle down. IMHO.

Edit: It is not our job to teach you, nor are we responsible for you "getting it" If a post is not helpful, then just move along. But, by showing disrespect to the author of that post, you simply put me off, and I am guessing most everyone else here. If you demand that we teach you, then you are lost. If you ask for help, you may just get it. It's not a difficult concept, it's one most children learn before they are 5 years old. And, this is the last time I will offer any assistance to you unless you find a more humble approach. Good luck.

The ego is an act, sometimes it is the only way to get what you want. I'm not messing about here, I really do want to know if this 'style' of trading works or not. The next step for me will be to rearrange my notes of the 1st 200pages, get rid of the phatic, put things in a proper structure, and then move on to trying out what I come out with.

I need to know the big picture before I worry about details; I'm dyslexic and that's the only way I learn .

And how many times have I been shown disrespect in this thread? You can go count if you wish.

I have not demanded anything... I have asked for clarification on points that were not in the first 200 pages or were too ambiguous.

Yes, one full reading of the first 200 pages, and a reread of the parts I found interesting or important with regards to trading.

Some people read very quick:
200 pages = 8000 posts
full of deep information,
Several books,
military concepts,
macroeconomical concepts,
trading psychology,
etc.
I would say that it would take
several weeks or months
to go through them.
What a joke...

I'm sorry, I didn't respond to this because I didn't understand. I think I have an idea now... although 1,1,2,3,5,8 is 20X scout in total or 5 failed trades? What is your point?

I obviously didn't read the books, and have never said that I did. Not all the posts were written by FTI either, so why would I read all 8000 posts?

Gaps just about closed, wouldn't be surprised to see some short squeezing after everyone is on board again after the open this week, see what unfolds

Leon, just try it in demo and you'll see how it works and you'll have better uderstanding of it. It's pretty logical to do such type of operations if your entry is mistimed and you have enough capital.
