The market movements are so small in its sideway direction. I'll stay out and will not enter unless a clear direction can be spotted. Taking on a trade now would be nothing else but gambling.

I've updated my trading log with the excellent monthly result!

I feel proud and happy. However, learning never stops and next month can be a bad one with a lot of ranging. Staying focused...

Just missed a +100 pips move. Firstly, as I stated yesterday, I wasn't comfortable with the thin and slow market (bank holiday). Secondly, my MacBook gave in last weekend, so I can't monitor the market during CET workday. It will not get repaired until Thursday.

I am not that dissapointed. These things happen and now I KNOW there is another opportunity around the corner.

The market is really ranging now. No good deal for a trend trader... Have a look at this daily chart. It's consolidating against the horizontal support @ 1.22.

When one lose their cool at these times, all hell would break lose

Where is it going to go?...

Since the 24th of May, the market has been quiet and dull. Especially this week has been disappointing with absolutely no trading at all. I am a bit surprised that I'm not frustrated. That's good! I know I've got a system that works and that system tells me to stay away from ranging markets. Trading ranging markets with my system would be gambling. I've got time to wait for the market to start a new trend phase. And what the h*ll, it's summertime, the weather is fine and the beer is cold!

Maybe the NFP tomorrow will kick the market in the a**. Either way, quoting CrucialPoint: I don't care!
