What s your view on Oil? I am looking for a PA confirmation to short it but it is bouncing around 75 and overall I am still bullish

I really don't have a clue... The formation on Weekly is an almost 2-week PB, off an important confluence area. We may get a run-up from here, but in the short term (1, maybe 2 weeks) we may move lower because of the double fib confluence, 365 EMA and PPZ (daily). So I'm not really into trading it just now (or I'll trade it on lower TFs on demo )

E/CAD offered a nice triangle breakout with trend opportunity a while ago...the only thing I've seen whilst going through my charts that I would have traded today so far.

Very nice...I would have taken this too if I hadn't overslept!

Definitely regretting not setting pending orders on Friday on oil @ 75.50 and EU @ 1.2450 grrrr

I was lucky. 10 sec after I put in the order it started to fall. Almost every pair has a 4hr outside bar. Let's see how they will retrace.

There's no luck involved in taking a good setup

Whats your plan for this trade...price is sitting on a daily PPZ area now...

I ll see if it breaks 72.50 for 70 target. I am expecting a retrace now to pick up some momentum but I am also willing to give up something and wait.

Gold is more of a safe haven trade than Silver...i.e. commodities are generally sold quite hard when equities have a sell off, but Gold has the potential to rise as people buy gold, USD and JPY when risk appetite is falling etc.

Question to Neutro,

when you have time, could you please take a look to the attached indi ?

This is the indicator that slows down my platform (the problem I had a few days ago). If I insert it in more than 7 -10 charts everything becomes slow and terminal.exe goes to the roof.

It looks to me like a bunch of lines on the chart, why is it sucking so much energy from the CPU ?

Modify that line in metaeditor, from 50.000 to 50 or something like that (below 100 I guess)

It's going into a loop and it's draining the CPU. Modifying it to 50-100 will make it do the loop 100 times and end, not 5.000 or 50.000.

Then press Compile and the indicator will be saved with default setting 50 (or whatever value you enter there).

No, not on HGrip.Pips (that tells the program the number of pips to put a line on, that should be 5000 or whatever pip increment you want).

I was referring to HGrid.Weeks, which is the period to calculate the high and low of the grid. You don't need 50000 (that's 50 thousand weeks, or almost one thousand years). One or two years should be enough.

Try it, see what it does.
