Hi Auron,

thanks for that but the problem is that my PC does not like EX4's.

I have PM Royston in the hope that he can help me out.

Figured as much. Royston mentioned in the indicator's thread that he didn't post the mq4s only because he wasn't very proud of the rush job he did with the code and it wasn't clean enough for public consumption. I'm sure he will help you out if you explain the situation and promise not to let the world see his messy closet.

Lots of opportunities today.

1st arrow left, not quite 100% system. 1hr down, 15 min was a hammer, 2 candles later on this 5 min chart has clearly rejected the hammer and formed an evening star pattern. Nice lh sell.

2nd arrow down a clear 100% system trade, we got entry at 4346 and exited at BE. Mrs V wanted me to bank at +10 due to the reject of M2 at 4330. Her crystal ball was on song today.

1st arrow up the hl close just above 43500. Mrs V wanted this trade bad, I said we're still on a lh and trend is strongly down. Mrs V (much too good for me this am) said the reject of the W M2 and 38% fib of y's range (yellow line) at 4342 area was the key. Today she was right, who knows what would happen other days, she was reacting to what pa was doing at those important levels. A good call anyway I wasn't quick enough getting trade set so chance missed.

Next 2 arrows up, clear system trades.

2 arrows down, whilst these are system trades I didn't take due to the 4400 level and then just after news.

There were lots of great buys for late Asian session traders.

Very nice shooting star on 1hr, 15 min engulfing lower close, 5 mins after the 1hr shooting star closed sold the low of 5 min lh doji. Out at +31 at 50/R1/Y's high combo.

Thats a 3% ROI from I feel a standard system trade.

I was asked if I'd consider this trade as 15 min had a neg close but a nice 5 min hl. See arrows up on 5 and 15 min charts.

The 1hr has been solidly up all morning, no problems there. The 15 min had a couple of neg closes but on lower vol and a lower wick on last 15 min candle. The lower vol suggests to me that there wasn't interest in the move down.

5 min has a nice morning star pattern with an engulfing higher close that takes out the high of the 15 min candle. A definite buy. The red middle line on 5 min indi window in an uptrend is hopefully forcing you to have a good look at the 15 min candle. Nice trade.

Nice trade. Have the folks in town this week so not much trading for me but thought I would pop in. I don't take many dojis yet with this methodology as I'm a big closes guy and like to see those bars filled in a little, but I really like this one. Had everything going for it.

It was either take it there or below the 75 level, we like doji's like this and thought it would give us some room if 75 level held.

Oh we exited at the combo level as we are still above the 1hr 8 lwma.

I think I'm finished for the day.

15 min chart double bottom low, higher close just above Y's high was a good clue for this 5 min buy.

A few candles later just below the even number was a 100% system trade if you weren't in already.

Wasn't in front of computer didn't take this one, just showing for the record.

Normally I would be very wary of trading in and around an even number. Mrs V and I have been seeing that if its 100% per system (good 1hr, 15 min candles and 5 min hl/lh on right side of 1hr 8lwma) then you take it irrespective of where it happens. The success rate is very high.

Yesterday there was a system trade on even number we didn't take and again here.

1hr a type of doji but a much larger upper wick, 15 min neg close, sold this 5 min lh out for 27 near the low from late Asian session when 25 level held.

Oh we were going against the strong daily close yesterday so we identified those lows/25 level as an exit point.

Its the MTF MA set at 60, 8, 0, 3, 0 to equal my fave 1hr 8 lwma.

Whilst I'm still looking at ALF, for med term 1hr 8lwma works well and each TF's 8 lwma works well, so I don't know if ALF will give me (may be great for others) an advantage.

Morning V,
Is it my imagination, or is there a much higher proportion of non-System trades in your trading this week? I am thinking that, on many occasions, the ranging market is stopping the last condition being met, ie price being the correct side of the 60 min 8 lwma for a full System trade.

I was making tea and Mrs V liked the hl buy at 112.75, so I just thought I'd show the other 'potential' system trades on ej this am.

Left arrow up nice winning trade. X in middle buy above 112.50 would have been a losing trade.

The arrow down, is a lh but no trade going against the 1hr, if it was taken at best BE at worst a small loss.

Mrs V's trade a nice winner. Out too early (where have I heard that one before) but Mrs V is a founder member of the +20 bank association.

I hope its your imagination as without checking back on charts I thought I was being a good boy. If we have 1hr and 15 min candles giving OK above/below the 1hr 8 lwma I am more flexible on especially if its a matter of pips in it thats causing the diff.

Todays trades we were right on 1hr lwma when we entered now in hindsight the ma has settled into a straight line, but that WILL happen when you are working from a 1hr indi on 5 min, ie it will settle when 1hr is closed.

I am happy that we are working system, I'm also happy in the time I'm at computer its running well over 75% success rate, well over.

What I'll look to do is get in a trade if candles are right but wrong side of 1hr 8 lwma and look to bank but if ALL is right look for trades to go a bit further, also considering then the last daily candle.
