We have our fib anchored at the last low candle well do we wait on going short until this last low we are anchored on is broken or what.
Checkz I might leave that one for the master to answer but there is also a Kiwi hiding in the wings who might have some ideas on that.....

New Zealand. I thought you may have been referring to someone here on the thread who was swing trading and had the answer to the question I had asked. My bad.

Mate, I have my ideas on the swing fib stuff and have seen it working quite well on cable this morning, I've seen a swing tell me to get short temporarilly.

How I understand it is you pull up or down the last swing depending on which way we are heading then you look for a candle to kiss off one of the inner levels. If the zero breaks take the trade. Look at this chart. There is another swing further up starting from the yellow box which ends with a 138 hit. Look what happened to price after?

See if you can find that smaller swing and post it Checkz.

You can look for short trades within the larger fib.
Its up to you how to trade it.
But remember you will be trading in the opposite direction of the larger cycle.

Hush, have faith. No ones opinions are worthless, yours included. I'm a bit upset, I missed taking profit on cable now I'm sitting offside AND I saw another swing fib warning me of a reversal. We live and learn, I do anyway constantly.

I'm gonna hang in on cable anyway, there's a long fib not complete off the lows.

Evening Tex. If was using a swing fib to track price then where you have your fib is where I would place mine. I would only have traded it if I saw a candle kiss off one of the inner levels. I then would have tried one of two things.

1. The candle that kissed off inner respect I would have sold the break of and put a stop just above it. Perhaps I would be greedy and look for the 138 or I might be happy with 20 pips and run, this I am still working on.

2. After the kiss off inner respect I could wait to see if the zero pierced then I could enter short there and for arguments sake look for the 138 for profit take. Theoretically this fib will then go to the 138, eventually.

If I am wrong hopefully Thom will correct me.
