another amazing week trading the dailys ... i have now made $433 on a $1K account since april 8.

my intraday was so-so; made the equivalent of about 0.4% (had i not traded pennies) ... going to do a quick post mortem for the week.

post mortem for 9 potential set-ups (realistically that i could have taken w/in my session & that i would have spotted) removing fear & just pulling the trigger on a signal =

3% had i traded using 1% risk & 6% had i traded using 2% risk (versus the 0.4% equivalent above) ...

and that is with 4 losses out of 9. PF = 1.9 for this week's trading.

embarrassed to say that i have FTPTT once again ... presently, i would be pulling half my position off the table. it was one of the trickier set-ups, but i really need to get past this somehow. week in, week out. same story. sad.

my AU swing trade hit the target.

$465 on $1000 so far.

my UCAD is up 200 pips & 50 w/in target.

and to compound matters, i was in the U/J short under the same set-up & bailed on it when i was a up a few pips after it retraced on me. seriously. i have issues.

this week is a wash. i am live intraday, but results are neutral ... my daily demo trades are doing fine.

i am going back to work ... i am dreading it. will keep trading until i am free from the chains that bind me.

(small confession, i started messing on the 5min & 15min charts tonite ... why? greed? impatience? desperation b/c i wasn't going to get rich over night? all of the above? ... who knows. i know that i can get there tonite or next, and i guess im not ready to do this yet, but the money has run out & im starting to face the music ... god it sucks to be a grown up.)

how tragic. i've already done the post-mortem for the week. had i simply followed the plan, i could have netted 5.3% this week. should have been 10 trades; 3 losses, 1 b/e, & 6 wins. simple trades. no hindsight goggles, just the ones where i failed to pull the trigger over and over or got messing around w/ the 5 & 15 min. that is w/ 1% risk only. i am truly pathetic.

a miracle has occurred. i pulled the trigger. 1/2 position off at 70 pips ... still holding at 80 pips, but will likely retrace here in a bit.

haha, jokes on me. market jumps another 70 pips after i jumped out. my original plan was to trail my stop to 2551 when the market hit 2621 ... final stop was 2683.

today is the week i WILL pull the trigger 100% of the time during my trading session. i was going to trade 2 pennies (last week was 1 penny per pip), but i am committed so i calculated my risk at 0.5% (approx. 40 pip SL) ... the number was psychologically scary so i cut it in half. so i am trading a nickle per pip (or about 0.025%) ... i WILL conquer my final emotional hurdle keeping me from trading for a living.

im in the black & over 100 pips ... SL moved to secure 73 of those.

also, another miracle has happened ... i pulled the trigger again!! i added to the prior trade (so 1/2 of my 1/2 position LOL) ... but anyway, im in the black on this one & i have move my SL to b/e so i cant lose either way.
