what's wrong at checking charts on weekends?

i used to monitor/stare at charts (with or without trades) for an average of 13 - 18 hrs a day (on several occasions more than 24 hrs!)

No Nub it's real. The dollar signs are in the eyes until the account is blown.
Then they go blank. LOL!

At a certain point looking at charts becomes redundant. I, too, am guilty of having spent tons of hours behind the screen when I should have been out enjoying my life. However when it finally clicks, you realize there is no point in chart gazing. That's about the same time the idea of exploring "new systems" becomes "uninteresting". You simply reach a comprehension level of market structure that you are comfortable with, and come to realize that looking at charts is not going to reveal anything new.

Coincidently, no one here is in love with Forex... they're are in love with the idea of financial abundance or being right... possibly both. I can't see how a rational human being could be motivated or inspired by a chart (moving or otherwise).

Peace out my peeps,
MM

Oh sorry, I forgot to add that reaching a "comprehension level of market structure that you are comfortable with" requires that you stare at charts for thousands of hours (yes, even the weekends).

HAAAYYOOOO!!!

Forex is like a barbed vagina; looks extremely appealing and inviting... but leaves you in a puddle of your own fluids and in a great deal of pain.

Me too.

When market close on Friday I run to continue trading with MT4 trading simulator, I sleep with Forex, when I'm in work in laboratory I see Forex patterns in my ChIP-on-Chip graphics and I begin to draw trendlines, supports and resistances, sell and buy stops with their SLs and TPs...

I can't stop thinking in Forex!!! Make more pips, make more pips!!! Yeah baby, make me rich before I blow up another account!
