Unless you're advanced in Gann type stuff, I wouldn't recommend the books. Very difficult concepts to apply.

why that (in red)??? normally it should be 150

Hi mistersimple. Here's what I see. It looks like your data should show 150 instead of 180 on June 7.

By the way, the reason why these aspects sometimes repeat is because of retrogrades. In this case Mars was probably moving direct, then retro, then direct again, causing three different 135 degree aspects.

But, in all Gann books that I have seen so far the following aspects are of most importance:

0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180.

Also look for heliocentric oppositions & conjunctions.

Fast planets, short cycles, slow planets long cycles.
Also: Look for planets in conjuction with the north node, especially faster planets give good turning points.

And if I am correct, all aspects are almost always counter trend!

Good point. These are the most common aspects for regular astro (non-Gann) as well. It can't hurt to test 45 and 135, but in the end you'll probably narrow things down to fewer than you're using right now.

The thread starter and Zapmx concentrate mainly on 0 and 180, which seem to be the most potent. But you should use what your research tells you is the most reliable for your style of trading.

That are the Gann saturn resistance/support lines on there...
You draw those by hand or you have software that does that for you?

i am trying to make the Gann squares in my mt4 but the fix scale is making a real mess, its not adecuate but... i have founded an interesting and limited software and i am testing how good is the tuning. Its a tool to make overlay of squares in any charts of work station. Let me post a chart and i will give you the details.

i agree, if the astro-mathematic method is not very accurate is not making sense to continue using it.

My test of sensitive degrees from natals of some currencies is not working fine these 2 weeks, and i believe it is because a major macro-astrological event (its like master TF and its invalidating all the small astro events) was present, then after influence of sat-oppo-conj jup is finished i am not using my short term astro system and i am researching alternatives to trade in this extreme conditions. Until then i am just scalping and trading hit and run.
