3rd we have a huge inside candle on weekly chart ,and that is HEAVILY A bearish breakout coming week/weeks..
maybe you try to pick a bottom on gbp/usd ,but i personally will wait and a bottom is far from hear or over ... we dont have any daily bullish diverg so far ,and all signs is to the downside ... next target is 1.43 where we will have a major bounce ,but from there on i dont know,,if we going down or bottom out... but i certainly will try longs at 1.4303 & 1.42 ,,

i personally see the low will be at 1.42 ,if its a medium bottom or long term bottom,i dont know,,,


PS ... if we bottom at these levels ,,we WILL MOVE SIDEWAYS FOR DAYS ,why try to pick a bottom and jump into longs where you are not sure ,,but to be patient and wait for the PA to move nowwhere on daily chart for days and then jump into longs for long term ..

PA will never tank heavily and then sudden reverse ..it will stand still for days and going nowwhere and then reverse

direct trade,,here is only a chart from usd/chf ,,,i know its not correlate with gbp/usd,but it move slightly in the same dirrection with eur/usd and usd/chf..

the chart is usd/ch,f a huge bearish breakout triangle that is forming ,,we still need to go all the way to the 78.6 level to topped out and then we can start look for signs for bottoms and tops ..

usd/chf is still 400 pips away from 78.6 and it wont stop at that level,it will most likely spike above it with another 100/200 pips ...

so to try now to pick botttoms and tops is waay too risky for long term ... in Q4 maybe ,but def not now

direct trade,,, and if we are in a acsneding wedge on monthly ,you pointed out,,, that all the lows must go to the 78.6 fib in any triangle any wedge formation ,,and you will see it is at 1.43 level ..so bargain on another 200 pips down and possible more with a psike down to 1.42 ,,but in that region we might bottom ,,"if we are in acsending wedge" ..if not then the low on monthly isd the target ... but we try to guess now and nothing is confirm yet...but we certainly will bounce at 1.43 and 1.42 for sure

PA need to pause first for a reversal ,,for days even weeks if we look at daily charts and weekly charts ..

you might be right ,but we are far from the pause level to reverse for long

who is that then Killer Whale - the reason I ask is not to put in my 2 cents worth nor is to stir anything further up - The sheer fact that I am a newbie and yet both show confidence in what they are saying makes it hard for us newbies to decifer who is stating things with confidence and conviction minus the knowledge or analysis or vice versa..

PS: fullhouse - I must admit bro I have only been on here for about 3 weeks now and I do always look forward to your analysis of things and in my very infant stage of understanding you do make alot of sense to me - along with
geppy, scrat and killerwhale to name a few - esp when I feel a little lost with my trading.

any help/advice/resources from where you guys learnt etc or know about that would help me in my forex quest would be gratefully appreciated!? I have struggled so far losing alot and sometimes making alot - so far I am under by 60% but account not expired and am so going to make sure it doesnt - I never use more than micro account numbers and Im slowly becoming a little more disciplined but guess I lack the ability to really accurately to know entry and exit points and I sometimes hold onto trades too long when in red...

till tuesday range till 125.57- 12603 (Triangle 1 hr)..Then Down to 122xx level..

Lets see what Sunday Brings.?

Or just UP from here..

I believe there Should be a Gap ....Up or Down..I favour Up if any...

According to december 2008's monthly candle this level is strong protected,
a lot of effort has been done to stop euro decline.
The better chart indicate this is usdchf, strong resistance provided by weekly ema250 drove price 1.5K pips without retrace(free fall) now usdchf is approaching to ema250(1.4-1.6 area) once again.
Currently usdchf is right near monthly ema52.

Shorting USD now is pretty risky i recommend to wait at least 1 month and see what happen if ema250 holds(or lower monthly ema52= 1.3) on uc it would be perfect place to take short on USD for below parity target somewhere arround 0.85 maybe lower who knows

On the other hand significant break of monthly ema52 and weekly ema250 make more upside target but i think wedge is not completed yet.

U never miss a train it will be plenty of time to jump on it no matter which side they will choose
