(ex. perspective:.. frog perspective or a bird perspective) - thats' makes lots of difference...

- If you are investor and you trade of the weekly/monthly.. the trend is clear,

- If you look on daily TF, you can see that we broke the range form 139-145 we been kept there for weeks.. and we retested to 139.. (that's CLEAR breakout)

different story is 4h/1h.

However..

from 15min TF perspective we had a very nice drop from 139.50 to 135.00 in a single day.. (that's a lot of pips, and bloody good TREND on 5/15min.)

I really don't have any prospects that the probes will do anything definitive either. More than likely the regs will just go waggle a finger at the banks saying "don't do it again" and getting doe-eyed replies of "yes sir, thank you sir, three bags full sir and now help me bend the public over again so i can get more of my jollies". What will rattle the markets is the continual stream of new probes that keep entering into the fray. While the news will most likely get phased over a few days their immediate effect can't be discounted.

I think what really makes them mad is that they even have to put on a pony show probe. They want an openly mafia system where each day you live you are grateful for that and would never consider troubling your fluoride addled mind with big important things like "how come no one has a job?".

Really ungrateful landless peasants and the dog and pony shows that must be put on for them are a tremendous waste of resources in their view.

My view on unemployment rate is that there just isn't enough jobs. It's because the world is changing with the internet. You can run a store as big as barnes and noble , like amazon , with 35 people instead of 30,000. One insurance company can pay for advertisement online and be more profitable than hiring 50,000 door-to-door salesmen. I could go on and on, but technology will improve, and simply our civilization won't have to do as much work, as a whole. There will always be manual labor, but jobs that can be replaced by technology will become obsolete. If people want to find a job, they should look online is my advice.

Plus another thing,
In the company where I work, I still see jobs go to India,
and another thing: whole departments work mandatory overtime 10 to 15 hours per week, just because they don't wanna hire. Overtime is cheaper!!!!!
And this is a F500 company.
I just have to manage that I can live of GY as quickly as possible, but that will still be a few years.

i think 139 for SL is oso quite good... I don't think it would jump suddenly to 139.xx

I said "weekend" in my post but meant this week. I agree the overall trend is down (hard to dispute that intelligently). But this week there really hasn't been a defined trend to play... it's been ranging, consolidating, whatever you want to call it. So to say you're playing this week's trend is bs.

Play and scalp the range and keep overall bias to the downside. That's what I've been doing.

Eulogy, this is a tough one. It's hard to say, but I don't think continued probes will spook markets. I think something bigger needs to materialize from them. Say things really get dirty with Goldman... who knows what, but something that does not bode well at all. Well, that will spook markets and you can trace that back to the different probes. If they found something really bad there, chances are they'll find it in the other probes. This is where the scare factor will come into play. It's like back when we had Merrill, Wamu, etc taking it up the a$$. Everyone was wondering who would be next. Well, this could be a similar (smaller) wave life that. We just have to wait to see what materializes if anything does at all. Chances are, it'll be the ol' slap on the wrist like you said.

so far all crosses,,is so clear,,we wont see any big movements until "maybe" maybe late US session,,but i would say we will see the drop into next week ,and i cant see it happen 2day...

so far the crosses..i know excatly where will the aud/jpy turn,aswell as cad/jpy..pretty obv... but not sure about gbp/jpy ..i do only see 137.40 ,so i will start of there and work the way down...

so glad we get this reratracement to 137.xx

i think we will get as high as 137.40 and will probably close below weekly supp at 135.70 2day,,so i reckon late US will we get the drop below supp..
